The franchise has passed its high point and at this point in time the makers, producers, and other staff are using gimmicks to keep the entire franchise going and yes it is still popular but not what it once was. Most people believe they are actually feline because they do, actually look like cats.

@kyatorin The song which plays at the end of pokemon 3 is called To Know the Unknown and the song thats played at the end of the japanese version is called The Day a Rainbow was Born. The Day a Rainbow was Born was also dubbed into the song Just like a Rainbow. Hope this helps you

I know which soundtrack you mean but since it was only used in the english dub and there was no english cd released with the bgm music etc the music doesnt have a name and was never released it would be hard or even impossible to find it anywhere.

i agree with alot of you. pokemon 2000 was the best with the an orginal plot. its better than the newer ones out. the older had more to it. and the old pokedex was better than the rest i say. of course there was always good old professor oak who i miss. and brock and misty. misty always naged ash but she was smart the new girls dont have anything on misty and never will. that much i can say. and water types are the best. but im partial to fire types as well. but i love pikachu.

Ash is in a coma. He's been in it since Pikachu's thunderbolt knocked him out along with all the Spearow that were attacking him. Hence, why he hasn't aged.

This movie points out that Ash has to have aged! In the Pikachu short he said that they were celebrating the day him and Pikachu met, which is his b-day. So every three Seasons he ages, so he is 14 in my real life terms. But in Black and White they said he was 10. Anybody else confused about that

@muntu1221 New animators got a hold of Pokemon, while that's good for the graphics, they still haven't increased the story quality and have in fact given Ash access to the Dragon Balls so he's wished to eternally remain at the age of 10.

Nah, it's just that the new guys want this anime to be a cartoon show for kids and have taken away any kind of aging process there may have been. Trust me the Manga is far better then the anime. There is no comparison really.

This season has Tracey with Misty and Ash. Brock left the group to stay with a scientist named professor Ivy. as you can see in Pokemon movie 2000, Tracey is with Misty and Ash. Therefore this movie took place during the Orange SIlands season!
