Perhaps there's been some improvement. But if you sell someone a lemon, then you should fix it. And that's what Samsung did with the SCD 23. If you need proof I have it.
Samsung? I'll never buy another Samsung Product. I bought the SCD 23 and soon after the warranty expired the Video Sensor (which picks up the images) went bad.
My research on the net shows that it was a common defect in the SCD23's and related models.
Samsung refused to fix it. The honourable thing to do would have been to at least offer me the part free, I would have paid a technician to install it. NEVER SAMSUNG AGAIN!!! None of their products.

i know but most consumer cameras have ALOT of video noise, but i made my mind and am buying the Canon HV30 price just dropped again on B&H
