dont use heavy duty silicone, its alot thicker then the stuff u buy from the airsoft store, the viscosity is alot different, and can lower ur fps, and or cause bb's to stick down the barrel.
@StopMotionMind Dude, I know, read the comments before you post stuff like that. The video is nearly 2 years old. Countless people have told me this and I don't need to be reminded every few weeks.
@TheSnarfal When you first get the gun, it should already be lubricated. I first lubricated the gun I think 3 weeks after getting it so it should be fine. Also, just as a note, the heavy duty silicone leaves white residue on the gun's plastic. You may want to try and use a different lubricant that is not heavy duty.
@ABCMATTISSOMMER Yes, I realize that after countless remiders from many different people. You think I would have corrected that after a year and seven months.
thanks bro i have the same gun and i will be going to buy some silicon lube, my dad and i had put some other lube we had on it already, ill prolly wipe some of it off
Everyone I apologize for not answering questions its just that I've been busy with school and stuff for the past year and a half but I will try to answer questions more often.
hey i am getting a sniper and i want to know if you have to lubricate it or is it only to make it easier to pull back if you dont lubricate it will it break? please help
@Snailpoyero you have to lubricate it if you whant it to lasnt and work good. it makes it a little bit easier to pull back and your gone might break if you dont
attention don't push the bolt down when you toke it back, because there is this little golden pin wich you can loose when you exactly do that what i said at the beginning, so ähh yeah if you loose the little golden pin you can't push the bolt back down when you want to push it back to complete the reload...
u idiot u can teach the piston with ease, my mates got one, just take of the body and you will be able to see it better. I have and SVD which is better and easy to clean + lube
It makes the bolt action smooth and also keeps from I guess "gunk" building up in the gun. By the way the lube I used leaves some white residue on the gun so try a different type. Maybe not heavy-duty?
you do no the bolt comes out right?

can you use rubbing alchohal
5000moose 9 months ago
@5000moose Probably not.
bluerakoonz 9 months ago
You are doing absolutely NOTHING by spraying it onto the cylinder.
You have to lubricate the internals of the cylinder, sears, and trigger mechanism.

ur a noob .. oiling the bolt how you did is doing nothing !
you have to unscrew it and oil the zylinder and the piston ....

Use silicon not silicone. Silicone is what they use for breast implants and is highly poisons

hey i see u got a scope nicee wat model?
andyboyzz123 2 years ago
y dont u just take the gun apart in the 2 pieces (unscrew using the allen wrench) and lub it that way?
armystrong8808 2 years ago
I could do that but I'm afraid it might effect how my scope is zeroed in if the barrel moves or something.
bluerakoonz 2 years ago
If you do that nothing should happen with it being zeroed in. The scope is attached to the barrel assembly not the stock.
Xx11HaloGuy11xX 2 years ago
trust me it doesnt effect ur scope at all just dont drop it in the process and be carefull wiv it u shud be fine
poisenfury 2 years ago
the outer barrel is already screwed tightly onto the receiver (or w/e it's called, i forgot) it's wont mess up your scope. i do it all the time
