２ストロークエンジンはガソリンと潤滑オイルを同時に燃焼させる­ので白煙を排出します。

オイルの銘柄によっても多少違いは有りますが、特に冷えている状­態でエンジン始動させるとモクモクですよ。

The back wheel was off a FZR1000. It is derestricted and RW hp is about 85.

changed out the emultion tube in the carb and rejetted.

I have a Suzuki GT380 three cylinder 2 stroke from 1974. Even a modern 400 can't keep up with it on acceleration and doesn't match it on top speed either. I live in USA. You can only ride older (pre1982) 2 strokes in the USA. In europe you can ride RGV250 RS250 etc. which are only race bikes here. I found a way to get them registered here though. Use International Title Service in Las Vegas, they will get you maine tags that you can then transfer to your state. I'm doing it right now

everyone who's ever ridden or even heard an rzv500 knows it's a two-stroke, and the lugging sound can't be gotten from a four-stroke without a cam replacement. even then it's just not the same. that wasn't my point...

i'm not changing my pipes for anything, but i love the "pop" of these pipes. oh well, at least my bike doesn't sound like yours :)

Moto Carrera in Los Angeles, CA is THE place for two-stroke Yamaha RD parts. Get Spec II pipes/chambers or Toomeys.

I've owned a RD-60 (first bike!) an RD-350 and two RD-400s. The two-strokes and the Castrol oil smell is pure sex. What memories-cafe bars, rear sets. This RD 500 will be in my collection someday. It is awesome.

As for the powerband the RZV has a broader pwerband because of the powervalves.

the Banshee has a lightswitch powerband on or off.
