  • Just stop buying the magazines and the products they are selling. Just boycott them. She doesn't even resemble her "real" self.

  • after photoshop looks fake, = not attractive

  • she looks better BEFORE all the touch ups IMHO.

  • Yes, this is common! Don't get scammed by people just wanting to sell their beauty products to you. Your inner beauty is far more important than your outer looks. Don't fall prey!!!!!

  • None of this is surprising, if you arent self conscious you wont buy beauty shit, noone needs these things but massive corporations wanna sap all your money and make you feel like shit.

  • Holy shizz! I saw this on t.v two days ago! :OO

  • I watched this in my art class

  • wow, tat make su feel ugly lol

  • I thought beauty is in the eye of the beholder not photoshop

  • She looked better before! :(

  • YOu know who actually sets the standard of Beauty in Western Society? Gay Men, They are most of the fashion designers, the makeup artist etc. They are extreme in what they think is beautiful for a female. Look at how Drag Queens Dress, Exagerated, So they make Models up as they would like to be. The average straight male isn't really attracted to all of the makeup and skinny girls but It's all we see in the magazines so we start to like it. It's just the way it is.

  • @RetroGoop Man... I am known in the enviroment I work and live in as a person who deffends too much the gays. But I totally agree with you.

  • CHEATERS!

  • Brings to mind a young woman I saw interviewed years ago. She had, anonymously, become the talk of the town thru her gorgeous image on a series of billboards promoting some product. She recounted that when she told her friends she was the billboard girl, none of them believed her - she looked so different from the manipulated image.

  • Thats pretty sick.

  • This reminds me so much of the song everybody's fool by evanescence.

  • how did i get from Ellen to here?

  • Nicely done

  • lol

  • What gives anyone the right to judge who is pretty and who is ugly?

True beauty is real, because in my opinion, being beautiful isnt always what society classes as "pretty". Beauty is when you see a woman comfortable and excepting to who and what she is.

  • not that pretty -_-

  • This was at my school assembly as a badd influence of makeup and the stupidiy of the need to be beautiful to be accepte

  • SHE looked much better before the make over :)

  • ew. that's waayy to fake @ tha end.

  • olololololo

  • i wud tap that.... just sayin

  • Sorry, what exactly won't I believe?

  • What was wrong with the original face?

  • women are doing this now? I thought women were self conscious

  • the bigger eyes look actually worse

  • Welcome to paradise. Don't look at yourself. Don't look at the people around you. Don't worry about all of the hard questions and painful realities. Just look at the screen, where everything is perfect. Everything is fine. Everything is fine. Everything is fine...

  • It's more than make up people. It's the CGing, and complete changing of facial features. The makeup is minimal in this case. hey made her eyes bigger, made her neck longer than it's supposed to be, made her lips bigger... it's this kinda of thing that we call "beauty" it's all an illusion.

  • She definitely looks better after

  • this is from dove...

  • The sad part is she looked good even without makeup.. and with she looked fine. Why go to the trouble of taking beautiful to 'perfect' when that's the only thing that makes us individuals? :(

  • I liked more before the makeup... after she looks like a transvestite...

  • this is highly disturbing....

  • see. its shite like this. the photoshop shite they just did

that makes little girls not ok with thems selfs.

girls wishing they were beautiful when they are and then shite like this goes on. and they'll say on billboards "beauty is natural" or some shit like that. when half the billboards we are looking at are probably photoshopped. the world disgusts me..

  • Lol, they just pull her head up :P

  • I don't like how people bash on makeup. If you do it for pure artistic views or even just for the love of it, it's nothing bad. Too often too many people assume, she wears makeup so she MUST be insecure and brainwashed. It's like me telling a weight trainer, oh you are obsessed with perfection, what if they just want to be fit!!? Geez... Cant people like what they like without others judging them )':

  • @whenskiesturngrey I agree with this, I LOVE make-up, but I don't think I need it or that I'm ugly without it I just love putting it on! If people think that you have issues because of that then THEY are the ones with the problem :)

  • C распущенными волосами она выглядела моложе

  • in my school the showed this vid!

  • @InfinityWardWarfare2 What? Who is The? You need to rephrase your sentence.

  • @onilink422 i went to school and they talked about advertising, and they showed this vid.

  • @InfinityWardWarfare2 Alright, sorry for being an asshole, yesterday wasn't one of my best days. xD

  • 0:31 - 0:40 , Yeah, that was me using paint, and yeah i'm pretty damn good at it.

  • So super models are fake?

  • @XSouthXNightX exactly.

  • noooo she looked fine to begin with

  • Still kinda looks like a dude

  • eyes to big

  • Lmao eyes size*3 lol

  • I loled so hard when they like streched her neck hahaha

  • She looked better prior to both the photoshop and the makeup.

  • I'd do the last version... and hard.

  • look how the brain decrease!!

  • Can anyone tell me what song is playing in the background please!

  • Thats just WRONG!

  • whoever did the editing is a lazy fuck.

  • She was beautiful at the beginning, stunning after the seriously good makeup, and just plain wrong after the computer effects.

  • Lol when they stretched her neck.

  • i like how this video shows that what people think of as the ultimate beautiful women is nothing more then make-up and photoshopping. theses days the "goal" most young women are trying to achieve is nuts. i like pretty people, don't get me wrong. but nature provides. we don't need hours and hours of hairdressing and painting our faces to be attractive. beauty is, as they say, in the eye of the beholder. if chicks feel the need to paint themselves to feel pretty or loved. whats that say about us?

  • Beauty?

  • Really world?

  • Every young girl should watch this and know that beauty is all fake. Don't pay any attention to what you see on TV or in magaizines. Real beauty comes from within.

  • she has no soul at the end.

  • i think she looked fine at the beginning

  • Ich sehe auch ohne Photoshop so gut aus.

  • so much cheaper

  • this pissed me off. my social woker showed me this.

who the fuck cares?! she made her neck a little longer, touched up a few places, so what?

beauty is achievable, and i will get my body there one way or another.

  • @misschic007 The standard of beauty that has been set in Western society, is in fact unrealistic. Even the most beautiful women are touched up & modified in ways that no real human could achieve (you can't lengthen your neck & enlarge your eyes). Many women obsess over achieving this 'perfection', but it is unattainable. Thus, women are never satisfied with who they are and how they look, and as a result, are always seeking out new ways to "improve" themselves. Just be happy with who you are.

  • @o0Theresa0o But isnt being unsatisfied with yourself (male or female) not being happy with who you are? So shouldnt one change whatever it is they are unhappy with to make them happy?

Well, to a certain extent I mean.

  • @MikordiChan People are unsatisfied because media has set an unrealistic standard. People are trying to achieve the unachievable, and that leaves them feeling imperfect etc. You should do your best to make yourself happy in any way that you can, but one has to recognize when their benchmark for happiness isn't possible and perhaps reevaluate what truly makes them happy and reset their benchmarks or goals to achieve that.

  • @o0Theresa0o So basically what I said.

But media doesnt have to make one unhappy with themselves. Why do so many people think that?

If someone wants to get a nose job for example, lets say they think their nose is to big for their face. They would get it done so it can be smaller or more proportionate with their face. No media involved.

  • @MikordiChan Who says that the nose is too big? Society. There is no specific normal proportion for a nose, they vary.

  • @MsAgnosticatheist The person the nose is on. If she/he think it is then thats their opinion. Not society's.

  • @MikordiChan Where do you think our ideas of what is desirable or not come from? How could someone have a nose that they thought was too big unless they gathered that idea from outside influences? If their is no medical reason to have a nose job then it is for cosmetic purposes, to look differently than how you were born to feel more attractive to others.

  • @MsAgnosticatheist Yes, some do come from society. Im not saying they arnt. But not all opinions come from other people. I dont think you understand what im saying though. Well, its difficult to understand. For example, I think that im fat. Why? Because I cant fit into the pants I bought. I dont look around thinking that I want legs that that girl that I saw at the store. I want to lose weight because I fell its more healthier for me. No one told that I should.

  • @MsAgnosticatheist And to answer you're question. Where do our ideas and opinions come from? Anywhere. Our mind. Society. Imagination? And back to the nose idea. Some people think that their nose is to big or not proportionate to their face. They feel like its the nose they shouldn't have. - Transsexuals. They feel that they were born in the wrong body. So they get a sex change. Society in that matter had nothing to do with it.

  • *neck grows*

    Nope.

  • She looks hotter without photoshop. "You wont believe it!!!" Yea I don't believe that people are this vain >.>

  • Haha all beauty is is fakeness accept for the lucky few who have good genes bue i doubt theres one person in this world who is perfect who hasnt used surgery or makeup.

  • Disgusting. I thought she looked just fine to begin with. So think, if you jack off to a porn star in a photo, it's probably a 76 year old man.

  • So which do you think she uses as her Facebook picture

  • And this is why I just laugh when chicks try to look like models. I actually adore my humaness.

  • Damn, they made her neck longer, eyes bigger and everything!

P.S. the song to this video is Passage D by The Flashbulb if anyone wanted to know.

  • This video should be shown to all school girls.

  • if only girls would see this that keep believing these photos are real. YOU WONDER WHY THEY ARE SOOO PERFECT, THEN YOU LOOK THEM UP WITHOUT MAKEUP AND GET THE UN-PHOTOSHOPPED REAL DEAL.

COME ON GIRLS, DONT RUIN YOUR LIFE, you can do many things with makeup and clothing that will get you looking as good as good can get for you as an individual... but as you see, perfect is not perfect unless its photoshopped.

  • Beauty?....

  • id fuck her now

  • @ panfrick, I agree. She was definitely good looking before they did all that stuff to her.

  • ugh.they made her all fake and plastic. She was pretty before the darn transformation.

  • WOW (:

  • it just shows you what show business does

  • Damn! She looks like a freak after this!

  • Its good because men are naturally good looking but women have to use makeup and digital renhancing technology to look good

  • @bananaboi5 wtf are you babling about all men are fucking ugly, almost all girls are beautiful, almost.

  • its like Paris Hilton and the kardashions ect..glamor..but underneath they are not flawless just like every body else

  • its the way ppl market stuff to others......its called lying on global scale.

  • shes a cunt

  • I love how I still her "after result" is best looking.

  • She was better after the makeup but before the photoshop...

  • Make up. Bringing Photoshop to the next level.

  • wooow that was moving despite the obvious point i am still drawn towards the cartoon image of her.

  • aaaah q mal.... la mujer no es fea

  • @GabbiRockandRoll Muy mal. No espanol. I really don't speak espanol. But it is very bad.

  • that's how all women should look, regardless of anything you fuck machines ;)

  • This is a Dove commercial. Dove is owned by Unilever which is the same company that owns AXE.

  • "Our society puts a premium on beauty, common in declining cultures." - Dr. Brennan, "Bones"

  • @bummercucumber

No better way to support an argument than to cite a television series.

  • Watch out! She is going for the leaves at the top branch.

  • i hate when they extend her neck like ET

  • @pammcake LOL

  • so you mean all those playboys i had as a kid were frauds........oh well got me through puberty lolololol

  • I don't get it. She looked much better before they did all that crap to her.

  • welcome to planet earth

  • that's so mean

  • nice... next time use a better camera though

  • man, on this shot and knowing poser and daz, air brushing plus photoshop can do wonders. i agree, why mess with natural beauty. that's a gift. in a way that's not right. to change your looks on screen and not look like that in real life. too much cosmetic surgeries in my opinion also. that reminds me, it's time for my appointment to get a facelift. need to get rid of the bags under my eyes. LOL just joking.

  • this explains alot...

  • shes magnifacint

  • Fuck Photoshop dammit!!!

  • interesting...she was naturally pretty before. :)

  • I dont get it, she was hot before why bother with the alterations?

  • ya I agree but she had imperfections that wouldnt be allowed on a sign lol its pathetic how much people care about their looks but Im one of them and Im a guy pretty emabarrasing lol.

  • @Lenin506 If you watched the orginial video, which I did in health class. She had a horrible case of acne, it was all red all over her face. They applied make up on that, and what you saw at the beggining was the cover up for her acne. I'm not saying people with acne are not hot. So yes, supermodels on those billboards are probably fake.

  • that actually pretty sad. Well.. i guess thats the media. Great video.

  • thats sad ina way

  • Man, she look prettier without the makeup

  • Thats just retarded. If it didnt make women look better, then they wouldnt bother.

  • @51AD3 But what's "better"? The basic point of this video is to show that our perception of beauty is distorted.

  • That woulda been fucked up if you gave her a giraffe neck....

  • lmfao i just enjoyed this comment :)

  • wow!!

    thats weird shit

shes not that hot in real life!

  • ...and she's still not good looking in the end

  • you're damn right :|

  • I'd banger!

  • That seems to work better than my green stuff, where can I go to get this done to me?

  • Superb video. It shows how false is our perception of reality, beauty and the media.

  • thats media for you.

  • lol, wow, are you serious? people are taking models and photoshop "enhancing" them? so not even models are "beautiful enough" anymore? lol.. thats rather disturbing..

  • her eyes kinda look alien-ish in the end.

  • kanley less is more

  • what do humans think something that isn't humanly possible is beautiful. she was a beautiful person as a person not a digital human. i mean why cant we model whats real?

  • she was already pretty.

  • No wonder these models look like Aliens in the magazines! I just thought there was something genetically different about their body shape. The most extreme example I have is I once say a magazine picture of a supermodel wearing a bikini when I was a kid and she had no bellybutton. I told my mother and she said, "That's impossible. She wouldn't be human." This messes with kids minds about what a woman should look like.

  • It was ok till you photoshoped it -.-

  • sooooooooo disturbing

  • So sick

  • O.O

  • Is it just me or do her eyebrows put anyone else off??

  • All the makeup was understandable i guess, i mean she is going to a photoshoot to be on a billboard after all, but the photoshopping? Unnecessary, and not worth the dehumanization.

  • wow.

    humans are pure shit.

i have nothing more to say.

  • hate to break it to you pal....you are a fucking human...

  • i know. its a shame.

  • @casanasie - are you alien

  • @jalsa9 nope. i meant what i said and i said what i meant. i know very well that i am human as well.

  • @casanasie hehe

probably anything you see on tv is bullshit

and in internet too only in internet other peeps unmask that bullshit

  • @casanasie

What are you a robot or something?

  • @casanasie

    Agreed.

  • fuck... that.

  • I like her at the begining.

    When shes human.

  • ew... humans

  • @cosmoline626 same here.

  • @cosmoline626 lmao

  • @cosmoline626 agree

  • cheater

  • questa è bellezza?

  • i liked her hair afterwards, it was real pretty

  • woah

  • I wear make up ok? But i DONT use it to make a false appearance of my self. EVERYONE is beautiful. :-) xxx

  • Everyone? I think not. Don't say things that aren't true.

  • I don't so much mind the physical, literal application of makeup.

But, the distortion and illegitimization of her image with computer software is sickening.

If I were the model herself, I'd wonder what the hell they even needed me for at all but just created a 100% unreal, virtual digital model and been done with it.

The popular concept of beauty is like a runaway train, and taking our young boys and girls into a depressing place.

  • Honestly thought she was more beautiful before the makeover than afterwards. :/

  • i see then i take back my comment i am sorry if i offended you in any way
