this is one of the moments when the audience see Al Capone's vicious and cruel side, at girst I thought Al Capone hit that man with the baseball bat was that man was wearing a different style tuxedo then the rest of the men, but later when rewinding the movie I realized that the man that was bludgeoned by Al Capone was the man that was the manager of the warehouse which was raided by Elliott Ness, and his men. this is an awesome movie.
In the U.S. should make a film that speaks of Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino .. The heroes who destroyed the Mafia!! Enough with Capone, Riina, Messina Denaro. I first have to be ITALIAN man is a citizen of the world and hate all the gangs!! However beautiful film Bellissimo
@BigLaxFan94 Right you are, it is based on a true incident which happened on May 7, 1929. Two of Capone's most feared hit men, Albert Anselmi and John Scalise, had hatched a plot to kill Capone and take over his gang. Capone got wind of it and invited all his associates to a dinner party, including Anselmi and Scalise, where they get battered to death. A conflicting version of the story has Tony "Joe Batters" Accardo, one of Capone's hit men, as the man who bludgeoned the traitors to death.
@Achilles5Cenci From what I understand, that guy was in charge of the warehouse that was recently raided by Eliot Ness in the film, so for some reason Capone blamed him for it. Though in real life Capone supposedly did this, it was to someone who was planning to kill him.
@Achilles5Cenci Well for what is is known of Al Capone there were 3 guys of his "Family" that wanted to betray Al Capone so he invited them to diner with the other guys and killed them with the basketball bat to make a statement to the rest of his "family".
, " Outstanding American " labeled, boxes remain empty, while boxes labeled, live ammo with, drug cargo remain, full of life, to bailing out, first motivating a, successful families sad, death deterged essential, poverty left unmannerly, labeled " American outstanding " , !
