If we launched nukes, no one could survive. I doubt the EU and it's combined army would fall so quickly to russia. It's economy collapsed and its military is hugely underfunded (And barely any of what it was would).
If Russia invaded, all of the EU armies would be able to fight back, plus with U.S. support, it wouldn't be victory for Russia.
