Mallu movies from the 80s are awesome! Its not a biased opinion even though I am a mallu, as I watch hindi, tamil and telugu movies much more. But when it comes to acting, comedy and simplicity , Mallu movies are on a different league. The acting is outstanding , most storylines are simple and relate to the common man, hilarious and most importantly ORIGINAL unlike many copycats from hindi movies who think we are unaware of the existence of hollywood.
true...being a tamilian i 'm a pro in all indian language film though i couldn't understand them..i dun really watch mallu movies but i think mallu comedies is far more matured than any other indian comedies..there are logical, interesting and mainly everybody could understand it..:)
@ deepa 550, you certainly got limited knowledge about the standard of humor . hindi could not obtain the richness of malayam humor ,which is far more superior than u can observe, other wise it should have been the other way around. Mallu comedies are far more matured than any other regional languages. I have been around i know it better. this movie is one of the best example of keralite humor. we dont believe in spoon feeding.
if u could check the last scene in this video u can see thilakan warning siddiq, my god one of the best scenes... awesome dialogue delievery by thilakan and his face expression... priceless.... please everyone check that scene out....
