@USoSilly2Me During the 1993 to 1994, New Year, I worked midnights near downtown Detroit. From about 10:15 to 4:00 AM, it was non-stop gunfire in all directions. At midnight, it was a war zone.

One morning he was blocked in by 2 cars turned sideways in the street and as he looked around, he could see a bunch of "youths" coming toward him. He floored it and drove down the sidewalk to get away. That city is beyond hope now and has been since the 70's.
