They skipped over the period in the mid-late 70's when Andy did prime-time special "Mr. Rooney" video essays for CBS. They included "Mr. Rooney Goes To Work" and "Mr. Rooney Goes To Dinner". They were hilarious and insightful.
60 Minutes should feature reruns of ANDY ROONEY beginning from the first show from 1978 and also post the date and current events of the week of that time.
@WiseGuyJeffrey He was a helluva a guy..... the man is from another lifetime ago and a total different world than me, I'm a kid who grew up in the hood an hip hop which I don't think he was a huge fan of but neither was my Grandpa which is how I became aware of this man to begin with but it was Andy's realness, his uncanny wit and probly those crazy lookin eyebrows that made me a fan, u are right Jeff he was amazing and we need more real people like him in the world.
