A sign of the times in Chico and elsewhere. Last night I witnessed an inebriated college girl in handcuffs get put in the back seat of a patrol unit ,upon doing so she kicked the officer and stood up in the officers face yelling. Without hesitation the officer punched her in the face just like you would see in a college bar brawl. The sound of the punch was easily heard from across the street. I for one was taken back but tried to justify what the officer was going through at the time.
