  • a great announcer and a great man. i will never again get those chills i used to get when i would enter the stadium and hear "good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Yankee Stadium"

  • This guy is like the Harry Carrey of the Chicago Cubs. I didn't know that there were still announcers that have lived to see so much. What a lucky guy.
