Thanks man, this video helped me FINALLY finish this quest solo. One of the most useful things from this to me was the jump->jump->growl, although i did see him do 3 jumps or attack after the 2nd, most of the time he growled. The other was to let them kill each other, most of the time they just gangbeat me, but I got lucky and one killed the other early. I used Thor's dagger(SnS), Akantor (helm and gloves), Monoblos S (chest), and death stench (legs & boots). Now I can move on in the guild hall!

Oh yes a hammer, like Great Nova, I thought tigrex will be more easy by a lightning element weapon.

And for me, killing tigrex like that is more reckless dude... I use 350 defense armor, and 1 True Devil Slicer, i just need 2 Hot drinks, 2 Traps, and 5 Mega Pot. With some Health+ and Ration of course, and the first tigrex already dead meat at the mountain, so i didnt have to deal with 2 tigrex at the same time

@Vaoris Well G-ranked is going to be the best bet, but since you need this quest to get to G-ranked I'd say some dual swords with electric using my tactics. Check out my vids :]

@Wonnetz this will take you a bit of farming but it's the best you can get: ceanataur S helmet, tasset and feet, ceanataur U plate and gloves. 3 artisan jewels and some expert/ celebrity jewels ( can't remember how many) to get sharp sword, sharpness + 1, and reckless abandon + 1. For weapon i recomend you great sword,siegmund if you don't mind farming it, but judgement will do it aswell and it's much easier to get.

nice video... i use full akantor set and great sword ( lacerator blade). it's basically the same thing as you do, but i prefer great sword , i charge slice and release when he turns his head, makes him flinch all the time, and also i can't cut tail with hammer. Besides , with akantor set i dont have evide so i need to guard often. still nice :P

@Suikoden65 With 5 Cats I just use, some Meat and Grain (Like Dragon Tail + Demonshroom) for Almost Max HP and some AP increase. Don't see the point in Max Stamina as it will eventually decrease during the quest.

Really, I would recommend anything that has around 300 and higher. The armor I wore only had 294 defence. Handy skills would be Ear Plug and Evade +x, but even that and everything else is mostly unnecessary and more a luxury.

Obituary requires rare scarabs (I think), Shinobi needs Fatalis webbing, and dragon feet S just needs Fatalis material to make it show up.

Tigrex is a good set for the level you can get it at. The hear protect will give you the skill Ear Plug which will make you unaffected by the scream, but you'll still get hit by the shock wave.

Don't worry, I don't get mad easily and I enjoy answering questions. Diablos Chaos Broker would be a tiny bit better, but not by much. I would go with Onslaught though because its a lot easier to obtain.

Hammer is not my main weapon, its too overpowered so I tend to leave it alone. I do agree, I don't know the hammer as well as some people and I do make mistakes, though I'm not above accepting them.

My favorite class has been by far the SnS ever since MH1.

i doubt that you hunted all those eqps , you don't even have the skills , setting shock trap when you first encounter tigrex? any above average player would know that tigrex will roar when it sees the player. Mistakes everywhere . Poor Video

2 unlock the rainbow color u have 2 defeat the dual rajang on the chiefs quest ,this quest is the final 1 on the chief,u can unlock this quest by killing all elder dragon 2 times,and when u didi that u will unlock the quest of shen gaoren on the town and when u finish that quest u will unlock the dual rajang quest the qusts name is the final invitation its in the arena,but i gotta warn u its so hard even with full dark akantor armor the 1st rajang is in the arena then after 10 min
