PLEASE HELP, ive been wondering for a while, how to run audio out of pro tools, and run it though some effects and record it back into pro tools!? how is this done? PLEASE HELP
Hey I don't know if you already answer this question to other youtuber yet or not, if you already did please answer it again in a simple and easy way to understand. My question is I got 2 mic setup already and video myself playing a song. So the video and the mic are in a difference setup, so how can i get that sound with mic that I already play go into the video I just recorded?
Mate, your channel is awesome and this is waht I needed. Advise on how to do a quality record with a budget gear. You are a huge help. Thank you very much.
@officialkidrauhltv Nothing is connected to the camera. I simply take the recorded sound from the mic and replace the camera's built in audio and line it up.
@officialkidrauhltv in case you are stilli nterested, there's some apps out there that in a NLE they recognize your mic take and sync it to the cameara built in mic take.
Hi Graham. I want to record drums with an Oktava mk220 with 140 spl. But I'm afraid i can damage mic in this position cos it's a very loud drum part. What can I do to prevent damage? Or there's nothing to be afraid of?

Umm... You just solved all of the recording issues my band has been struggling with for months now. We'll record a demo using this technique. Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!!!
This is really decent, but you would at least need to clone the track and boost the bass drum EQ range if you wanted the bass drum to cut through the mix, and maybe the same for the cymbals as well. This is great if you only have one mic though, but I'd have to say you need two to do it right.
I've never seen or used the technique before. Thanks!! I wonder, I am going to be recording some live jazz in a small club, would this be a good way to mic the kit or would it allow for too much bleed from other sources? Just curious.... I had been planning on using the close-mic on each drum with two overheads. What do you think?
@ruzaki007 i misunderstood you i thought you meant electronic drums as in V-Drums or some electronic drum set.. yes with todays technology software drums does sound pretty real

@majestytd You simply import your recorded audio into your video editor and replace out the audio of the video.

how would you EQ the drumkit sound with that one mic with a mixer?
bboypinoy21santos 8 months ago
@bboypinoy21santos Totally depends on the rest of the mix. Ideally you shouldn't have to EQ at all.

@TheGthomasn Sure it could work. It's worth trying!
