I like the idea of PvP oblivion style combat because of the fact that you actually have to hit them. I had an awesome mod for oblivion that my friend and I made where a shot to the arm/leg is slow death. Chest is slow unless you hit the heart. Head is instant.

When I first played this game I thought it sucked, and I was wanting to cut my wrists

But as I progressed and started exploring I found that this is a wonderful game with incredible concepts, and probably the best MMO I have ever played.

The only problem is server stabilitty and the fact that it is a work in progress, but updates are weekly and usualy add lots of new content. If you're unsure about this game, just wait some months to play it, it's a great game and it'll be much better.

If you are expecting a polished game out of the box, this is not the game for you. There are quite a lot of bugs and the server stability hasn't been the greatest. If you are looking for something that is in the vein of UO, Shadowbane, Pre-CU SWG, and EvE Online this is a game you should check out.

The player driven economy seems really cool but still... a bit risky... I don't think that people will, in the long run, want to go chop some wood every now and then. Though in mmo's people tend to go great lengths to improve themselves even if it contains hours of grinding both materials and mobs.

@Zoeres When you die, you may respawn with your default clothing and weapons, unless you did not have them when you died, in which case you spawn with nothing. There is only one server, one world. The gathering system is interesting, and not horribly time consuming. You also don't just gain materials from gathering, your attributes go up, as they would in real life. You get stronger, tougher.

Albeit a little clunky. The one word to describe this game is potential. In my opinion, if you like what the devs have in mind for this game, your best bet is to support it when it needs help. Brushing it off as a DF clone is selling this game short. Give it a try and imagine it with a little polishing :D I can't wait.
