The fact that some of you don't understand how evil the Soviet Union truly was, are only showing the poor education that you are receiveing from today's worthless textbooks. I truly feel deeply sorry for you.
oh yeah sure, can't defend your side intelligently, so you throw insults and blame it on education. I LIVE and attend school in the United States, and I'm still communist supporter. What now bitches. I know both sides, am learned on Cold war history, and etc. And guess what, USSR thought the same way about the USA. and nothing is really "evil". Just depends on point of view.
The problem with trying to have an intelligent conversation is the fact that they are currently in the United States and attending school. Todays textbooks are entirely worthless because they teach a romanticized version of Soviet communism, which was a brutal regime. To say it depends on a point of view, is just silly. The USSR was not like the USA where government is representative of the people. Under a brutal regime like the Soviet empire, the people don't matter. Just ask the Georgians.
It is a universal fact that history is written by the victors. It is the duty of a student of world history to mediate between two extremes to interpret a neutral standing so an independent point of view can be formulated. Throughout the turbulent years of the Cold War era, both blocs were competing for world supremacy showing no real remorse for the common sake of humanity when in the pursuit of its own individual expansionist objectives.
Hence the US in Vietnam, the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. Many fail to realize that at one point of the Second World War, vast quantities of Soviet M-44 Mosin-Nagant rifles were manufactured in the United States which were shipped out to the frontlines of the Eastern Front in Europe. This just leads one to speculate how great of a manipulation the United States actually had over the Soviet economy. The aftermath of the Cold War was perceived long before the fall of the wall.
Now, NATO now encompasses nations of eastern Europe that were once key Soviet satellites. It is truly remarkable to see how much has changed in the last twenty years. Which can lead one to ponder how viable the continued existence of communism at the dawn of the 21st century.
Oh please, everyone says Soviet Union was bad/is bad. You've all been brainwashed just like you say the Soviets brainwashed their citizens. oh, "USAUSAUSA!" Not so different, USA and USSR. You think that USA is best, and you only think that the USSR is worst and evil because the USSR was USA's enemy because of some idealogical war.
I mean cmon, the Soviets fought with the Americans in history's bloodiest conflict! and how do you know that Communism is bad? It's even professing ideals similar to that of Christianity!
and oh yeah, which nation deliberately napalmed defensless civilians in Vietnam? Which nation gunned down civilians for fear of "spies" in Korea? Which nation, I ask you, supported and propped up dictatorships even worse than the USSR just because they were against communism?
You people are morons. This is nothing new. Last I checked this is a free country where you can find ALL KINDS of Nazi and Soviet crap to buy. There's a whole subculture of people who collect shit like this.
If you're so offended by the clothes, then get off your computer and call the company to complain you retards.
Thank you for posting this video. It truly is a disgrace and a slap in the face of America as a whole and in particular any American veteran who fought to stop the evil that is the former Soviet Union.
It is the "in" thing for many young liberals to by this kind of garbage that relates to marxism and communism and wear it like it's some badge to be proud of. Liberals claim to be well educated but obviously they don't recall their history lessons well... or they just hate America.
what the ... is the matter with people today?? we need to teach, and re-teach history to our people. the former soviet union was as bad as hitler, pol pot, and hussein. actually it made hussein look like a humanitarian
Did you know that the USA helped Saddam Hussein, which you say was a horrible dictator, and is one? To think of it, lots of countries with horrible dictators were put into power by the USA! Funny huh? You're going around saying how bad the Soviets were, but you ignore the fact the US is just as "bad", as you put it.
No nation is perfect, including the USA. But to say that the USA is as bad as the Soviets indicates a remarkable level of brain washing by the current state of our now worthless learning institutions.

Wow, realy. The entire nation was not evil. A countries leader is not a reflection of its people.
