Proof that Taksi DOES INDEED record sound

@lobogdan not at the same time as in game recording (at least in this current stage of development) You could try to record your voice with audacity and in game audio with Taksi though. Idk if that would work cuz I havn't tried it x)

Just so you also know. Closing Taksi before closing certain games will crash the game. (Such as kitsu Saga.)

@coldReactive That one I knew about. Cuz Taksi literally attaches itself to the game. Also sometimes it crashed a game when I was merely setting a higher fps.

@pcblah I recommend watching sum22's tutorial (should be on the very top right of the vid suggestions) "how to record games with Taksi, a free FRAPS alternative" while it is for the older version, and the program has been updated to record sound since then, it's still a very good tut. For the sound, I recommend watching my own vid "how to record sound with Taksi" should be the one below sum22's tutorial

and if not.. just search for them

But with Taksi, you can't just download it and start recording, ya gotta work with it a bit.

Just wanting to let you know, it doesn't seem to record microphone sound very well in sync with the video.

@coldReactive really? ah well, maybe that will be updated (thank you open source) I would ask what your settings are but I couldnt really be much help now (switched over to Linux completely :P It's epic!)

@testingte I found out why my video was suddenly cutting out before sound finished. "Compensate for record overhead in framerate" was on. Turning it off made it sync up properly.

@waterhat8 Yup thats the latest (far as I know, have to check again.....) definately the one which records sound. I will do a tutorial on how to get it to record sound a bit later cuz I'm busy atm. I'll let you know when its done and uploaded

@MrRoZerg Hmmm......I dont think I really have any "pc" games ^.^" all emulators....this vid was purposefully recorded in 10 fps cuz it was on my weaker pc, and I just wanted to prove the sound works. I'm about to upload another one (dreamcast game this time) in better quality and fps.

@MrRoZerg I have WoW ond DDO on my older pc though, and could do vids on that one (you'd just have to remember its on my older, bulkier, slower machine (same one I used to make this video) so it wont look as good as taksi can get

@DominationDarren Thank you! Wait till my latest vid on Taksi is finished and uploaded. During recording, it acctually made me wonder: Why isnt Taksi one of the top recorders when you type in "best free game recorder"? I was *that* blown away!

Uum... yeah... I forgot I didn't even have FRAPS anymore after that hard drive wipeout I had recently... You'll need to show me how to make Taksi do this as I don't wanna have to go through the FRAPS download again... Besides, FRAPS had lagged sound when I used it..
