I'm sorry but i think she should be in Beyonces place and just as famous as her because she has more talent, and i know i'll probably have lots of replys to this saying: No you suck Beyonce is awesome. But everyones entitled to their own opinion, right?

@pinkmeercatpink OMG!!! YOU ARE SOOOOOOO RIGHT!! Beyonce has vocals, dont get me wrong, but she lacks PASSION! Bey has become so arrogant! She makes music to make money and it shows! Chrisette has a passion for music! Thats why she refuses to expose her body to get notoriety! She shaved her friggin hair off and she still looks beautiful! I think Chrisette DESERVES appreciation! She has such a soultry, soulful voice that is very hard to find. She will still be singin long after Bey retires :)

@cyoungb16 Like I said...she has vocals, but no passion! It took her 20 minutes to write her entire album for "Bday." Like I said...Bey can sing, but its more than that! Flaunting your goodys and parading around in heels to the entire world requires no talent; anyone can do that! And thanks for the suggestion, but I refuse to go to her concerts...she makes enough money, I am not going to contribute to her riches :)

@krya505 Youre right..music is for entertainment, but many people make it a way of life...their way of puttin food on the table! Im not mad at Bey for the money she has, but I have NEVER wanted to be that rich; money is the root to many evils and people are not happy when they are rich! I just hate the fact that people put Bey above every other entertainer when there are folks who were makin music before her who sound BETTER, but dont get the exposure they deserve! She is not a god!

@terriberri61606 I get what you're saying alot of people tend to disregard the other musical talents out there. I believe that each of these artists make the own heartfelt contribution to the music industry. However to say one lacks passion simple because they take a few minutes to put an album together is inaccurate. Alot of great artists have done greater things in less time. I think it's also a matter of what fans are looking for.

@terriberri61606 I like to consider myself as one of those persons whose taste of music is well rounded. I listen to music of almost every genre and I could pick out an artist which I truly admire. But I do get it we should all learn to appreciate the musical talents of other artists and stop underating them before they are given a chance. BTW do you like Jonelle Monae? Cause I think she is one of those who is underappreciated.

@krya505 OMG me too! I consider myself a fan of all type of genres! I am very open to the many varieties of music out there and I do not limit myself to r&b, hip-hop, or rap (contrary to what the stereotype is of black people). I am glad that you understand my point though. I feel as though there is more talent out there than the few that people seem to PRAISE as if they are a god! I have never heard of Jonelle, but I will have to look her. Care for my opinion after I listen to her?

@terriberri61606 First, the "passion" you are talking about is the "soul" in the voices of girls who cant actually sing, they scream off-key and cry a bit to mask the fact that they cant sing...Beyonce has the perfect tone to sing ANY kind of music unlike mary j blige rejects...And the proof that beyonce is outrageously talented is the countless awards and praise from the music industry including Prince, MJ, Usher, Alicia, Mary and MANY others...and you seem mad about her making money...smdh

There are plenty of singers out there who sound BETTER than Bey but dont get the exposure that they deserve! Bey has awards yes, but look at her fans! Her fans are obsessed with her! Thats where the votes come from! When you have a passion for somethin, you dont need to expose your body to follow the social norms! Bey does! That where her popularity comes from...

This woman is a BEAUTIFUL, TALENTED, AMAZING vocalist who gives hope to R&B! For the most part, R&B is dead and not too many people are trying to revive its roots!
