  • @juslas94 yes my friend, to get abs you need a 10% body fat percentage or less. doing situps burns little calories and wont show your abs at all unless you have 10% or less bodyfat. search scooby fitness in the search bar. This guy gives free advice, and the free and only way to get abs he doesnt scam you like most people do there are no costs involved. trust me check it out bro

And here it is -> Humans CANNOT build excess muscle WITHOUT DRUGS as we all (99.999999999+% of us) have MYOSTATIN, which prevents us from doing so. Steroids/hgh users build muscle at a quicker rate in which myostatin can regulate/destroy. HTH.

  • its true u dont have to do so many reps to get abs if ur eating right and have a affective calorie burning cardio work out, but thats simply if ur trying to get abbs, but those types of abbs mean nothing when it comes to endurance, so high reps are usually sport specific or for endurance. Greg Plitt is an Ex Army Ranger, so high reps makes sense when it comes to him because he got used to endurance training in the Army.

  • Those leg lifts are a joke, He says you should be doing 3 sets 60-50-40, that's a joke. If you're doing that many reps, all your doing is going through the motions, and your not going to get benefit from it. Instead, increase the intensity either by adding weight such as ankle weights or even doing another exercise such as candlesticks; an exercise where you lay flat on your back and lift your legs up all the way above your head.

By eating lean, a healthy diet plus a compound weight training program, you can get a six pack without doing a single crunch. The above video is a good, and a powerful routine to make your abs become more defined. Bt if you eat mcdonalds or KFC all day, no matter how hard you work your abs out you'll never get a six pack.

  • @graven101 The key is to EAT LESS. If you're eating too much of that "healthy balanced diet" you will NOT lose weight/get visible abs.. you will GAIN WEIGHT. My "theory" is 100% correct and I proved it by experimenting on myself for 2 weeks by eating ONLY Macdonalds, KFC and peanuts EVERYDAY for 2 weeks. My waist became even tighter and I lost about 2lbs. How? Because I was eating LESS CALORIES.

    Dont let that number put you down, i know sometimes it plays tricks on me too but just stay focused and set a goal a few reps higher than you can normally do. Maybe thats his routine but he's ripped so go by whatever your body tells you. I started doing only 15 reps (1st set) now im at 30 reps (1st set) and i can guarantee you the numbers will go higher the more i forget that 60-50-40. Also remember, he gets paid to go to the gym while we pay to go there.

  • @adicolor22 you're lower back is way to weak. try helping yourself up and lowering back down as slow as you can, this will help you to regain some balance down there. I had the same pain after an injury from cleans that made my lower back ridiculously weak for a while.

    But please, by all means, do exactly what Greg Plitt's recommends if it makes you feel better..

  • @PatrickMc1nerney even 25 reps is pretty descent for things like leg lifts.. truthfully in terms of good form and full range of motion, i get tired after doing 12 reps but then again i dont train my abs much lol

  • @blueleaf1717 I train my abs first when I go to the gym because I can really focus on technique since I'm not tired and I love the feeling of complete exhaustion after I finish them. Whether you can do 12 or 25 or 50, it really doesn't matter at all. I can probably only do 12 reps of leg lifts too if I perform them very slow and controlled, and with excellent form. When doing abdominal exercises try to compare the quality of your technique rather than how many repetitions you can do.

  • PatrickMc1nerney, i agree. Its kinda hard getting abs (i think) You gotta workout your abs, think about what you're eating and lose the fat around abs. I also figured, if youre pale, you dont see the abs very well ;D
