Hey there, thanks for the tour around your old stomping ground, I found the vid rather relaxing to watch. It was nice seeing some different sides of you, you are probably one of the most genuine people I've seen on you tube (or a very convincing ploy). As a fellow socially inept individual the only thing you can do is improve with practice, just talking to people as much as you can and with time it comes more naturally. You're definitely not unattractive, rather cute actually and you have a ...
cant believe i watched the whole thing. the longest vid ive seen here on youtube. and it wasnt boring at all. was actually quite interesting. great job on the documentary blunty...
I would very much like to see some more travel vlogs from you i find them very interesting. I know its impractical to do them all the time because of cost but even around Sydney would be cool. Australia has all ways interested me.
Ahhh a half an hour well spent. I forget which part exactly it was,but anyone watching this vid if you check the trees right after blunty says something about them being cut down you can see a sawn-off tree branch to the left side. Made me laugh a bit.
@Blunty3000 Just a bit of a question. Do you have any other places like this to do videos of? Do you have any favorite places from when you visit America? Me, myself like to visit places like zoo's especially on days when there are few people. Then you can actually appreciate and get to see the animals, and enjoy their majesty and such.
Thanks for showcasing the best city, in the best state, in the best country in the world. Brisbane, Queensland, Australia of course, for those who need to know.
Queensland is Damn bloody glorious. Went from Melbourne to the gold coast, in june, and we wore short sleave shirts, and shorts and stuff, the loacals are all, My god this is frezing, aint you cold, Like no, this is glorous
Australia seems to be one of those countries that attract the more idiotic American tourists. Rather then actually put some forethought into what they are going to see and do they just wander around going duuuuur. Being American myself I find them just as annoying as the locals that have to put up with them.
video is superb (even though after a while I started feeling sorry & concerned about your arm/shoulder ;-) --mine would 've been sprained lol)

good stuff. I love the long way series. Everything I watch it makes me want to run out the door and hop on a plane somewhere. Still I've been in the market for a new camera for my next adventure, looking forward to the review. One thing I didn't like in the video was that musical track. It was a bit over used. This wasn't thought through very well by the council. Adelaide has free bikes and helmets FFS!

Wish I lived in Australia so badly, I $%# hate being an american and living in this shitty country. Even California is such a depressing cultureless futureless shithole. The only thing really wrong with Australia is how its like the USA (Housing/stupid banks/carscarscars) or the UK (yobs and the banks). It's great to see Brisbane healing and still as beautiful as ever. It's always been my fav big city, The weather and secondly far away from my extended family in Victoria and South Australia.
Blunty, you have one hell of a life. I am very envious of you! I am only seventeen but I'd love to live like you. Brisbane looks beautiful.
You somewhat remind me of my father, he loves to explore and look around places. Just walk around, and find new things. And he is slightly portly much like you! haha
This is a wonderful video. I'd love more like this! Keep it up!
Gotta say Blunty, but 2 months ago I'd have been one of the "Too long, did not watch" crowd. But having gotten into longer vlogs and therefore being more than prepared for a long vid, I very much enjoyed the change of pace. I don't watch many "Travel vlogs" but if this is different from them, I don't think I'd be that interested. Especially as you've a standard in your general videography I've come to love and most others tend to wimp out on achieving.
@Valomorn Glad you enjoyed it.... and yeah, I've no real wish to emulate most "travel bloggers" out there, most of them come off like complete twats... I'm sure they're nice people, most people who love travel are... but the common presentation/writing style of most of that type of content just shits me ;)
@Blunty3000 Blunty, the reason why peeps get sleepy on airplanes is because they turn the oxygen down. You can still breathe well, but they make it so you'll fall asleep. It's a devious strategy, but it damn works.
I must say I truly enjoyed this video, and it has become my favorite video from your channel. It'd be really cool if you could do something like this when you decide to travel. Thanks for giving us a little slice of Australia ^_^.
I just watched all of that. Thought I'd be one of the 3 minute heads, but there you go.
Well wow, with all the negativity that makes all the positivity in the reviews more believable! Got those bike things in Ireland too. No helmet rule though. Road safety people were really annoyed with it, but they're damn useful!
Was in Brisbane once for two nights. Flooding must have been terrible, good to see it still alive and some coming back. Pity about the artificial beach.Gotta love those BBQ units
Blunty for PM if he gets rid of the stupid helmut rule... I'm in Germany and the only rule is if you ride at night you must have a light on your bike. Makes me miss Aus so much, Wollongong rocks!
great video blunty very entertaining. But next time, lay off the Americans a little eh? We're not all fat and lazy, the news and world just portrays us as such. Lol. I'd love to go to Australia one day
Ahh Blunty! I loved that HMS Cobber-Bobber That's how to deal with US Tourists! I had one the other day, asked me what was important about HMS Warrior (First Iron clad ship), I was so Temped to say it Sunk Hitler's Personal Yacht! But... I just couldn't do it... So I spoke in German at them!
It's such an amazing concept that you can explore a place you've already been yet still discover new things. Makes me want to travel outside of Melbourne for a weekend.
Oh, and congrats on finding some kind of relaxation while you were up there. Still a favorite vlogger.
Yeah Brisbane's a cool place. Great place to grow up also, all the luxuries of city life and the pleasantries of quiet suburbia (in my case anyway). It's funny, I was reading your twitter feed when you were in the ManaBar and I assumed you were at the Melbourne one... Wish I didn't. Would have gone in to meet ya...
And they bloke you showed mixing your drink(s) is an excellent bartender. Consistently great drinks.... I love the ManaBar :D
Great video as always, Blunty. I swear I thought I saw you on Sunday but I figured it was just an enthusiastic tourist and didn't bother to say hello. Totally agree with you on the infestation of emos and 'kids' with the attitude - they are EVERYWHERE. Also good to see you highlight and point out other sights that a lot of us locals take for granted.
It'd be great if you did a separate video on the Mana Bar. Great place, great drinks and great service. Biased? Yeah. But it's great :D
@Blunty3000 as soon as i press enter i noticed i typed the wrong name -.- i have both those types on lizards in my back yard here on the gold coast :D
Hey, the lizzard was a water dragon dude. I also don't like ibis, but I still feed the ducks. The best place to go in Sydney for that is Victoria Park, unless they killed all the unnative birds, but there used to be a black swan, white goose {yeah, lovers if you're Disney inclined}a cute but ugly muskovy and a few miscelalneous ferals plus infinite black ducks which look like female Mallards, but aren't. Sydney isn't all bad. But I now live up north near Cairns... quiet and warm.Come visit.bye
Hey Blunty, I know you don't usually respond to many comments but I just wanted to first tell you that I watched this entire video and I really quite enjoyed it. I think the main reason is my upcoming plans. My father and I have been wanting a change in life and we've been very seriously considering moving to Sydney, (from Canada) around September. I have been religiously watching your videos for a year or two now, and I would REALLY like the opportunity to maybe meet you!
i thought this was the time of year when you were starting into winter there. that looks a lot nicer than the 13million dollar piece of shit they put in by the river in Nashville and have had to redo it twice already in 4 years. rediculous! i'd much rather have that statue to look at than the gawdy roller coaster track looking piece of shit that we have now. very nice visually pleasing tour. thanks for sharing it. (specially since i'll never make it there)
Man this video is pretty cool really like it. Wish i could fly there but it will cost me a fortune. I would need to travel literally around the world to go there and you can be my personal travel agent or w/e is called...but anyway the other thing i wanted to say is that where i live those lizard w/e they r called are killing our ecosystem because where i live they have no predator so... they are running in the wild eating everything they see...but oh wellz that thing for another moment.
Hey, good video! I was not expecting to watch all 37 min of it, but your style of blog was so interesting and easy to watch. I really enjoyed it. I am from Sydney myself, and from what you have just shown me, Brisbane looks like an awesome and beautiful city that i am deffinatly going to have to check out at some point. Thanks again for the video.
i must say dear nate, asmuch as i am a HUGH follower of you're reviews (even though i dont use hald the things you DO review) i absolutly loved this little doccumentary of you're trip. sitting at my computer and admiring brisban through you're lenses has made me see another part of this great brown and green we live on. still loveing you're videos AS always and i cant wait for you're next, no matter that content.
LOL they did the same stupid thing with the bike hire here too..
And I miss just seeing lizards lying around places.. I'm guessing he was some kind of monitor lizard/goanna being that big [yet still looking quite young]
the sound goes off at some point and it felt to me that this video should be a bluntnate, but other then that it made me feel relaxed... why is this video on this channel and not you other?
I used to live in Brisbane. Since I was three until I was five...so I don't remember it very well, but I do remember the kids I used to hang with back then XD

You need to come up down to Newcastle. Best city in Aus IMO. Way smaller than Sydney but still enough to do and all that.

Diggin' the new hair, and wow I wish we had a ManaBar near my area.

Cheers!

i thought this was the time of year when you were starting into winter there. that looks a lot nicer than the 13million dollar piece of shit they put in by the river in Nashville and have had to redo it twice already in 4 years. rediculous! i'd much rather have that statue to look at than the gawdy roller coaster track looking piece of shit that we have now. very nice visually pleasing tour. thanks for sharing it.
