The premise of this debate, as all negotiations is flawed. Palestinians and Israelis are both attached to their "apparent" race (even though their gene content is quite similar), culture, or religion. Neither side is fond of mixing, or abandoning outdated beliefs. Actual peace will require heavy integration and letting go of the past. Primitive notions of culture, race, sexism, and all. And no, I don't think that will be given up.

Israel's flawed title deed is that they - the polity - are the hereditary owners. There is nothing that can justify the gross injustices the Palestinians have had to endure under Israeli Military Occupation. What do we get from Israel? Spying within our borders, meddling in our foreign policy (specifically dictating our rules of war), secrets sold to soft-enemies, absolute defiance when we tell them not to build settlements with money we give them, national security threatened for interferring with conflicts we have no stake in.

Egypt started getting that aid when signed a peace agreement with Israel. Basically we give that money to Egypt (and support a brutal government) so Egypt does not fight a war with Israel. (Jordan also)
