Glad you got to catch that SW1500 operating Nikos, I was down there about 2 weeks ago and managed to catch CSX K621 going to US Gypsum and their chop nose GP7 doing some switching at Bridgeport.
@CarNutandTrainNut2 : Cool! Did they have CSX power on the K train or did they use the SQVR's power? I cant believe they run coal trains on that crap track. Was total luck catching them, was just exploring and found the engine idling away and the crew soon showed up. Wish they would run more trains, some good shots if anything ever ran.
You should go visit the Alabama and Tennessee River Railroad in Gasden, AL. I use to work there a few years ago. I have some cabride videos on youtube you should check out. Some of the highlights of the ATN in Gadsden are street running and an old L&N swing bridge over the Coosa River. to the north of Gadsden on the line to Albertville is the steepest mainline grade on the old L&N, 2.7%. another youtube member who has videos is sf5700 and bamarailfan
@Conraildan: Ive been thinking about a roadtrip this summer, was thinking about getting the ATN in B'ham but didnt know aout Gadsden, looks like some awesome shots there! Will check out the videos, whats the frequency like? Ive heard two train a day, I would really like to get them on the streetrunning in good light.

@nikosjk1
A CSX GEVO and a C40-8W......they used a SQVR crew to bring the train to the plant.
It wasnt coal it was limestone.
The "OMG I cant believe they are running a train of that size on the branchline track" was my response when I first saw the K621 back last summer.....
