There are *several* places to shave off massive amounts of time, such as going the top path instead of dropping to the bottom, jumping off and hitting the spring yourself when on the vine gimmicks, and

not trying to keep your boost meter full.

I got the Emulator and the ROM too, but with my horrible computer, that song for the level is just, REALLY, well it's just scary. THE SONG IS SOOOOO slow. the framerate is 17-15, so yeah. It is just really scary.

if you can't beat the water palace or carnival town (lots of trouble with me) just try every route. not all ensure victory if played with skill. sometimes you just need to use a boost before those things that twirl you around. if you keep trying, eventually you will get it.

You have to do a "finisher" trick, which is done by pressing the A button at the end of a long string of tricks.
