She started at about 6 - but she never HAD to practice - allways with fun - we started to play some basic rhythms and had fun with it - nothing else... some months ago we started a common training program with all that stuff: rudiments, speed, independency, weaker side, reading scores and so on... (but she is NOW old enough to know WHY she should spend time with it) regards!
Wow, this is really good! Just try work on your grip a little (got to keep your pinkies in) and try to compliment the song a little more with your ghost notes. Your left-hand independence is good but you need to put the accents in the right places istead of just at random. This is really good, though, I'm very impressed.

@Brem101 its an original 70s dry sounding 18" PAISTE medium flat ride - we have a 20" too, but this is sounding more bell like. ;-)
