If only you could have been with me in the many different church services where Jesus' presence was sooo strong. You would not doubt then. I challenge you to attend some Church of God or another Spirit-filled Christian church, and fill His wonderful, glorious manifested presence for yourself.

The Bible offers far more than that. In his second letter to the Corinthians Paul states, "I was given a painful physical ailment". He mentions it again in his letter to Galatians; "I preached the gospel to you the first time; it was because I was ill.... But... you did not despise or reject me." Epileptics were often rejected and spat upon. The account of the "vision" fits epilepsy, start to finish.

Yes I did. I was craving for some high power, some magical afterlife. I never found one that could make me happy or fulfilled. Too many questions I wanted answer too and never got. Please understand my tone here. I'm just having a conversation with you. I hate it when Christians come off as holier than thou jerks. Anyway, Paul's vision was real, and God used Paul in a huge way. Through Paul the Gospel was brought to the gentiles including a move toward Europe. Thank God! I have no doubt that many people calling on false gods/demons feel their presence. I am a witness to the fact that prayer works and the Bible is true and the Lord Jesus is alive and present, and that is all I can do. You seek proof in that you want to use your 5 senses to disern truth in a scientific way, but there is a supernatural world that doesn't function that way.. There are Biblical Archeologists, and science should back Scripture, if the science is right. Science is the study of what God has made

The Bible offers far more than that. In his second letter to the Corinthians Paul states, "I was given a painful physical ailment". He mentions it again in his letter to Galatians; "I preached the gospel to you the first time; it was because I was ill.... But... you did not despise or reject me." Epileptics were often rejected and spat upon. The account of the "vision" fits epilepsy, start to finish.

I thank you for what appears to be sincere concern. You should know, however, that the story of Jesus is unsupported by any credible extra-biblical account. It's a myth.
You should also research studies on prayer, which show that it presents absolutely no indication of being at all effective in altering outcomes. It's just you talking to yourself. It might make you feel better, but it won't change anything.

I can tell you that prayer does make a difference. I have seen the power of prayer all of my life. If I just talked to myself when I was upset then I would not have an overwhelming feeling of peace, nor would I see the evidence of things working out to my good, as the Lord promises He will do. I don't need any proof to validate my faith. I know Jesus' presence not only in church, but in my life. The Person of Jesus Christ is so real to me. I could never truthfully deny Him.

I was a theist for 33-years. I prayed. When I received that for which I had asked, I attributed it to god. When I didn't get it, I dismissed the whole event. Pray to a penny, or stone, or worm, and employ the same methods, and you'll get the same result.

Yes I did. I was craving for some high power, some magical afterlife. I never found one that could make me happy or fulfilled. Too many questions I wanted answer too and never got. Then I stumbled upon a work by a man called Anton LaVey, by this time I was an athiest and was no longer looking for a higher power. His work led me to my current religion of Athiestic/LaVeyan Satanism and that has made me happy. I have a religion, a lifestyle, and philosophy.

I just see no reason that would benefit myself to believe in God. I see no proof that good things happening to people is some dieties work. For some its a benefit, for some they need and or want to believe in a higher being for one reason or other (signs, dreams, miracles, answered prayers, hope, ect) but for others like myself I don't find any reason or need.

No, all people were born with a built-in moral code (it mentions this in the book of Romans Chapter 1 as invisible attributes. There are people that have never experienced modern civilization and have a moral code. However, God gives us these invisible attributes along with creation that surrounds us to show us He does exist.
