Personally, I think it's because you can hear it's them! If you are a Slash fan, and you hear a song with hi solo, you know it's him because of the way he plays, making all his songs sound kinda the same. You know it's them because of their special way of playing guitar, so is it here.

i have an ibanez SAS36FM~~ (sumthin like that) i wana put emgs in it and i want to kno if i have to cut hole in the back for the nine volt battery

well i have emgs in a gibson explorer.. they just put the battery under my volume/tone pots..with a soft foam pad thing in between... idk the routing for the ibanez, but im sure the ycan do the same... ive neverheard of having to cut a hole in a guitar for emgs or any active pickups... i like emgs alright.. but i like duncans alot better... more personality and pure sound from the guitar

If you're a beginner, don't spend $2000 on a guitar, buy a cheap one, learn, after you can buy it. A good guitar doesn't make you a better guitarist so you can learn on a $300 guitar

A good guitar doesn't make you a good guitarist, but a cheap one will only discourage you if it's poorly made. If you're serious about starting, don't go for an expensive one, but don't go for a really cheap one either. Find a middle ground. Test some out if you can.

I was thinking about getting the PodXT Live. Either that or get some Shure 57 Mics and Mic up my JSX. Is this a personal setting or a preset?

Ey thanks it´s my own preset.I think the shure direct to the amp is a good choice but if you cannot play so lud at home , get a POD XT.

I used a POD XT LIVE and a Motu 828 mkII audio inteface,but with the Pod is enough to play at home and record your own tracks , the sound quallity is that you´re hearing
