There was a three foot Alligator for sale here near me, $50! I tried to convince my parents, but when you already have to large lizards it's kinda hard. Hehe.
I'm not sure who got him, but I have to admit I'm afraid some hillbilly from around here did :/
@rock3rd nothen much just work you know i would feed him every time he acts hungry once he gets biger i would cut it down to like three times a week so he dont become fat and unhelthy
Hey venom, another great vid! I have a question... How do you go about making sure algae doesn't grow in the gators nostrils? I've never had a problem with it. I just wanna know how to steer clear of it. I've read its happened to people before and can even kill them.
@Repti1982 you know i have never herd of this but i do know the ammonia is so high in there pond no algae has ever grown in there i am working on keeping the water cleaner but its realy hard with three living togther but let me see if i cant find something on it
A slight mutation THAT helps him adapt, not TO help him adapt. They don't have these mutations on purpose to increase there chances to survive. The mutations just occur by chance. I think that's about right. If it was a genetic characteristic passed down through successive generations, then maybe you can say the characteristic has a purpose, but if it is in fact a mutation that just this new guy underwent (which his parents didn't), then it would not have a purpose (but still helps survive). xD!
@venomman20 Don't get me wrong, I wasn't wanting it to attack you, I've just never seen a gator just chill on someone like yours did on you! Pretty cool (and docile)!
Hes beautiful
