Trajectory seems fixed leading me to conclude that it is in fact a satalite or the ISS.

I don't think it is, it's travelling way to fast.

I don't know man, some satellites (depending on their altitude) travel with speeds of 7.84 km/s. Now, that's really fast. And it can occur that they slow down in their speed because some of them are in elliptical orbit.

I've seen some of these 2 times. They changed direction. That's impossible to do for a satellite. And that should be consider interest. It wasn't an airplane for I always phone up the AOCS NM (google it) whenever I see strange things. Most of the sightings exclude IFO's.
