  • Bob, have you ever met, heard or watched Steve Spangler before?

  • @liquidrock2u I have met, heard, AND watched Steve. He's a great educator and a nice guy as well!

  • Hey, Bob! How long will the fog effect from the "potion" last? Might be cool on a halloween party if it lasts the whole evening!

  • @KamaDx The effect is short lived, as soon as the coin gets cold the reaction slows down and stops.

  • i remember doing this in 8th grade with a spoon

  • ur the best!

  • Science Bob, you are amazing! If teachers would show your videos in schools, I'm sure more kids would love science :)

  • were the hell am i gonna get dry ice

  • you could stick the quarter in the ice it should vibrate :D but that was funny! XD

  • You are wrong. It is not the quarter that is vibrating so fast it is screaming. It is just the Gas expanding so quickly you can hear it. It happens when anything touches it.

  • I lol'd at 1:19

  • the day when science bob becomes president is the day where we all get transformed into talking red toads :)

  • haha we did this in junoir high......except no gloves lol our money was stuck to it for quite some time lol

  • The ladel farted! lol

I know it's just the dry ice, but still, it sounded like it farted!

  • hahaha that ladle sounded like a seal

  • how do you make dry ice?

  • You an buy it for a dollar a pound

  • freeze carbon dioxide

  • Actually, to freeze carbon dioxide, you need it to be about 110 degrees farenheit BELOW zero, and you can't have any other gasses but carbon dioxide in a container, but of course the container would crack, etc.

  • i can learn from BOB than i do in science calss

  • @iiElaineXD Something tells me you need to learn from your English teacher as well.

  • is it possible to make your own dry ice BOB??

  • You would need industrial equipment for that. You best bet is trying to locate a company that makes dry ice and order some dry ice from it.

  • DevilMaster is right. It takes some expensive equipment and tanks of carbon dioxide to make dry ice. Suppliers of dry ice can usually be found in the phone book under "ice suppliers"

  • @ScienceBob you can get some from most Borden Milk Distributers

  • @ScienceBob u can also get dry ice at grocery stores

  • @DevilMaster u can get dry ice at most supermarkets nowadays

  • lol

  • The flasks just had warm water with a little food coloring - the classic bubbling potion!

  • But what makes the fog? I mean warm water + food coloring = colored water?

  • Water +coloring + DRY ICE = bubbling fog!

  • HA George died

  • where can you get or make dry ice?

  • Welding shops sometimes have it.

  • That is cool. BOB, YOU ARE MY HERO! <3
