personally, i only record guitar with a mic and an amp. sometimes i also play in stereo. going direct just isn't the same i think. One blue in green i also played drums and bass.
the problem with the videos is i am using a regular camera and it takes a lot of batteries to get a good take on the mixer AND on film. I use cubebase and lexicon omega with shure mics and fender and mesa amps
@chavruta2000 Wish I was using a regular camera. But, on a budget. Gotta work with the tools you got. Keep the vids a coming. I'm working up a few more. Stay swinging.
pretty sweet. But dude, how are you miking this? it might sound a bit better if you played with the settings. I usually just use my web camera for everything so it sounds pretty lame but ...
Glad you liked it. Still getting the process of recording down with my mac. I played through a cube 60 and used the headphone output into my interface. Couldn't use any Garageband mixing sounds because I used Quicktime so I relied on the reverb from the amp. Next recording I will experiment with adding another channel mic'd. Like your Blue in Green. Did you record live drums and bass to play to?
