  • I love this car

  • An awesome reliable car

  • I'm a fifteen year old with a 2007 lexus gs300... will i still live after all this?

  • @Dawgkid133 Im pretty sure you would walk away from it

  • That looked pretty bad and unsafe

  • @Zombebear you are stupid!!!

  • @Zombebear

umm how? no intrusion into the cabin whatsoever meaning this is VERY safe

  • Toyota is dead, along with half of Japan....

  • The Japanese car is better than a Chinese car and korean car

  • すげえ、さすがは世界のレクサス!

    室内は衝突前と同じ空間が保たれている!

  • I have a supra and a vito, my vito is falling to bits constantly rusting and constantly in the garage for repairs, I would sell it and never buy another merc again if I could afford to lose even more money on it. my supra is 15 yrs old and has never broke down, it has been in the garage for it's annual services but nothing has ever failed. I havn't crashed the merc but someone ran into the back of my supra, his car was a bit of a mess, mine only needed a repaint and me and my son were unharmed

  • :)

  • Mercedes-Benz still owns!

  • The whole Toyota brake thing is American propaganda. When i was younger if i ran over a little puddle my dads car would lose its power steering and brakes and i would almost crash but nobody recalled the car ,we just avoided puddles.

  • This is why it's much better to drive an older Mercedes Benz, one that you can afford, just for the safety factor. If you crash a Mercedes, your chances are MUCH better to come out ok & alive than in these cheaply made Jap cars. All the airbags in the world can't help you if the structure they are attached to falls apart, as you can clearly see is happening here. Put Mercedes Crash Test in the search box and see how Mercedes takes care of it's buyers -safety is #1 with Mercedes, unlike toyota.

  • 相当良いほうじゃないか?

  • neodagon, our (russian) mass media sad that it's a troubles of toyota technology))) That it's american citizens make such a scandak of that brakes)))

  • @ClaranceDaCrazyNiger hahahahahahahahahahaha so true

  • That would be a freakin' sweet job.

  • Aピラー、耐えてます!

  • poor car

    MOTTAINAI

  • did he die ?

  • Comment removed

  • Can they give those rims like a present for me.What a waste

  • Lexus and Toyota are very safe cars they have side front and knee airbags

  • safe.

  • it kinda hurts my heart to see a good car crash

  • : ( Such a nice car destroyed !

  • LONG LIVE THE JAPANESE CAR MAKERS!! my personal favourite is Honda!

  • @exxxplicitcontent

    177 kW @ 8300 rpm

    2.0 L four banger s2000

    My Life IS COMPLETE

  • @exxxplicitcontent copying lying stealing GO TO HELL JAPCRAP

  • @exxxplicitcontent Love live? The only that will live long is the Jap carmaker, not the drivers of these plasticy, unsafe cars. They may be reliable, but that won't help you when someone crashes into you and the structure starts falling apart leaving nothing to protect you. But of course, that won't happen to you, because your special..lol. I'm sure all the people who have died in these plastic jap cars felt the same way too.

  • @exxxplicitcontent The only thing Japanese about a Honda is the nameplate. They're built in the USA.

  • @exxxplicitcontent you haven't driven a Lexus yet

  • it is cool in slow motion

  • yeah and the airbag gave a cool performance. it was so large and yet it didn't touch the dummy as it deployed; the dummy went into it after it had been fully inflated for a few milliseconds. that's good engineering.

  • 凄い。直前に中国のクロカンのクラッシュ見たら、もう天国と地獄の差。

    完全にルーフが残ってる。

    これなら相当のクラッシュでも乗員はケガはしても生き残れる。

    さすが。ヨタさん。

  • @idrinorbarsaku Well I guess this is rather subjective, but I suggest you sit in a VW (even a cheap Golf) and then something like a Cobalt - the difference is very noticiable. And I should know, I sat in several dozen vehicles at the Toronto auto show yesterday. IMO, the best cheap cars were Hyundai and Suzuki - simple and well designed interiors, if not the best exterior styling. Honda was somewhat disappointing. Chrysler and Chevy were amongst the worst in interior fit and finish

  • So basically, it goes like this:

Honda is decent quality and reliability, but overpriced.

Toyota's quality has gone down and is a bit overpriced, but still isn't bad.

Ford is cheap and their quality has gone up a lot.

Hyundai is cheap and have improved a lot as well.

VW is good, but expensive to maintain and parts are expensive.

  • @idrinorbarsaku VW is still to expensive

  • Gas pedal stuck on this one too? ha.

  • By the way, did you know that the American government is making such an scandal of Toyota's brakes?. Especially CNN, they are criticizing Toyota everyday, every moment. In fact, this is just an American conspiration against Toyota.

You can make sure just watching CNN for a few hours...

  • @neodagon

you say that until you are in the same position as the guy in the lexus with a stuck gas pedal, and at 100 you hit a suv smash through a dirt mound against a tree then fly off a cliff and burst into flames, well hes not saying much now but you can look up the vid of his 911 call

  • @soupahfast Have you ever owned a Lexus man? My dad gave me his 2002 LS and its great. Now he owns a new LS and it's better than cheap piece of plastic GM, Ford, and Chrysler.

  • @PkBooYa no i never have owned a lexus,

and ill never buy a piece of stamped sheetmetal with a huge price, if i wanted a car like that id buy a mercedes, they DONT have a major consumer safety recall that they knew about but allowed, and i saw a guy in a mercedes either e or c class get t-boned by a semi truck goin at least 60 (on a highway) and the car flew across the median across 3 other lanes and 40 more ft into a field, and he was flown to a hospital and lived. chinese cars suck

  • @soupahfast All that makes sense... except Lexus is not Chinese-made or even a Chinese company. Good fight.

    Chinese people are not b

  • @AWDracer ...not bad people... but they make crappy cars that embarass the whole entire race.

  • @neodagon - Well, they OWN GM. Might as well..

  • @neodagon Yeah they seem to be going well out of their way to bring toyota down.Probably pushed by american car making companies that are giving someone a fat wad of notes to do the dirty business.

  • @neodagon The reason is they found an excuse to rape the shit out of toyota. to bad its not working, they out sold everyone again in March and the gov. just wants people to buy the POS american cars.

  • @ripsnorting13 Toyota could never make a pony car. and all their ads talk about safety and reliability. Man! talk about performance for a start. You're selling a car not a safety wagon

  • @dannyextremex pony car no.But hey they did make the supra. Imo thats one bad ass car.

  • @ripsnorting13 I agree!

  • @neodagon

    So true...

Also in talk shows, they do constant critics to toyota. Clearly one form of take away credit of this cars.

  • @neodagon true true

  • @neodagon Lexus is definitely one of the best rides I have ever experienced. I have owned BMW, Mercedes. BMW was ok, but Mercs are fucked. I spent so much on repairs of faulty parts that I got pissed off and sold the car. The electrics were the fucking worst. Mirror position switch would get jammed, wipers wouldn't turn on, headlight relay would melt into a plastic pancake. It was a brand new Merc too!

Got a Lexus after and 2 years later, not parts replaced yet. :)

  • @LOLDISNEYLAND

    But mine is okay?

  • @SMB67T what of yours is ok?

  • @LOLDISNEYLAND

    My Mercedes. :P

  • @LOLDISNEYLAND I'd rather do expensive repairs on a Mercedes Benz where at least I know if I'm in a car crash chances are I will come out alive, than in these plastic jap boxes with wheels. Who cares how reliable your car is if it can't provide you with adequate crash protection or you can't trust it's electronics like the Lexus that killed that cop and his ENTIRE family? But your probably one of these guys who blames the driver, not the shitty Toyota electronics. It's only MB S Class for me.

  • @Nightbird oh the same S class that killed Princess Diana?

I'm sorry but Lexus can be safer than mercedes in some models and even if Lexus is not safer than Mercedes, it's not much difference. The plastic jap boxes have as much plastic as a Mercedes.

My wife owns a 7 year old Toyota Prius (gen 2) that has probably the most electronics a car can contain. I have NEVER had one issue with the car in every aspect. It really is flawless and without problems. I am amazed at how underrated it is.

  • @LOLDISNEYLAND She died since she wasn't wearing her seatbelt. plastic jap boxes have MORE plastic than a mercedes, I can vouche for that.

  • @LOLDISNEYLAND The S-class crashed into the pillar at speeds in excess of 80mph (some nail the speed at 120mph). The person in the front passenger seat suffered minor injuries and survived. The other three passengers weren't as lucky, but studies indicate if they had been wearing their seatbelts, they would have lived. I would love to see any Lexus/toyota even try to come close to those results, almost a decade later

  • @jctevere This Lexus GS has crumpling of the a-pillar which is the main support and safety cage for passenger, crumple at a speed of only 35mph... Princess diana's crash in the s-class at more than double this speed still has the passenger safety compartment intact and a-pillar in great condition.

  • @neodagon Yeah now studies are showing it was drivers flooring the gas thinking they were hitting the break. Hate to rain on everyones hate Toyota parade, but im keeping all 4 of my Toyotas, they break better, more reliable, and safer.

  • @neodagon Why don't you move to Japan since you like to suck jap cock so much. I know two people personaly that have Toyotas and had accelerator mishaps. So piss off. How the fuck likes Toyota over Honda and Nissan anyway? All of their shit in the USA is made in the USA anyway.

77 Thumbs up for some one who is saying "Brakes" when its a accelerator/computer problem. 77 people drive Priuses and are completely disconnected from reality.

  • @neodagon The same thing happened to Audi in the 80s (it turned out to be driver error in nearly every instance)... it took them a few decades to recover from a rigged 60 Minutes special. There were some genuine cases where Toyota/Lexus makes would not stop accelerating, but the fact is most of the accidents associated with that problem were likely driver error.

  • @ineverrememberthese Driver error... the car should be designed in a manner that it can protect against such errant driver errors. Obviously once a person realizes he/she might crash into something he acts on impulse, rather than carefully-processed thought, to prevent getting into such a crash. At that point, it's up to the car to take over. Look at Volvo's "City Safety" feature.

  • @scaremengaviation My point is driver error in this case usually means a person means to brake and instead hits the accelerator. Unless the two are right next to one another... Also, while you're looking at the City Safety feature, you can also find that one video where it fails to function properly and the nice volvo goes under a lorry. It's nice that volvos can come with that feature, but honestly, you should be paying enough while on the road to avoid that sort of accident to begin with.

  • @ineverrememberthese Exactly. The person is scared shitless in such a hypothetical situation and can't think properly. That's when having said "City Safety" feature is a good thing. To react when you can't act. There's not one failure of the feature... I've seen two. And both of those were demonstrations. The one where the S60 (?) hit the truck happened on one of Volvo's testing grounds... so... it's a test. And even if it fails, it's still nice to have a failsafe, no?

  • @scaremengaviation Failsafes are nice, but they seem to make people more reckless to start with. "Oh, it's fine if I text, do my makeup, listen to the radio full blast, smoke, read headlines, and drive - my Volvo will brake for me. The same goes for Bluetooth systems in cars (Don't get me wrong, I have one, but I still prefer to not talk while driving). They give people a sense of ease. Even though you now have both hands on the wheel, your mind still isn't fully on the road. That's the danger

  • @neodagon Um... it sure isn't stopping Toyota from selling as many cars as it does, so what are you complaining about? And anyways, I'm sure if Honda, Mercedes, Nissan, Chevy, BMW, or any other manufacturer out there starting having some cases where the brakes did not work... CNN would attack them too. But the truth is, only Toyota has been having said cases. :)

  • I hope Toyota is wiped off the face of the best car maker list, and replaced with Hyundai. Fuck Japan. Fuck Yukio Hatoyama. Fuck Tokyo and fuck Toyota.

Be reduced to local/domestic sales you defecting lying asshole Toyota running Japs!

  • LMAO Hyundai's cars are so ugly, they need better designs, and they're mechanical and technical stuff aren't as advanced as other companies. Honda, Volkswagen, BMW are probably likely candidates which deserve to replace Toyota, but Hyundai- get real.

  • @7bmwm3gtr Actually Hyundai cars are more 'technically advanced' than Toyota, and Honda doesn't stand a chance against Ford or VW. BMW is a luxury car btw it can NEVER become number 1 seller unless all the other companies are gone.

  • Wait you said "best car maker" not best seller's list. And Honda does stand a chance against Ford and VW, in many factors including Vehicle Reliability (Less Problems) Vehicle Maintainence Cost (Japanese parts are cheapest parts compared to American made parts and especially European made parts) and we all know who comes out the best in Fuel Economy, VW seems likely, but i really think Ford isn't doing so well.

  • @7bmwm3gtr best car maker, top seller. It's all the same. Whoever makes the most moolah comes out the top. More income means more investment on development.

Since Toyota's defect, all of Japan inc. come out looking bad. That includes Honda - contradicting their reliability - and if Honda uses Japan-manufactured parts on their US products that's a mistake.

It's similar to what Toyota had done to use the same manufacturer for all their overseas production that caused the problem.

  • PS: Ford's sale is rising faster in US than Honda. It's a competition between Ford, Honda and VW. But Hyundai will benefit from Toyota's defect nevertheless. And that's wonderful.

  • @MASHDOTCOM Look, GM and Chrysler used to earn a lot of money. Did they ever make good cars? Do they do so now? HELL NO

At least Honda and Toyota recall cars out of warranty and at no cost to the consumer. Chrysler has millions of cars with life threatening defects still on the roads and doesn't issue any recalls whatsoever

  • I'm not gonna ask for specifics on Chrysler, nor do I care enough. But GM had been manufacturing cars that far exceed Toyota.

Let's see for an example: GM didn't manufacture cars for 8 years knowing that all their sold cars have fatal defects.

GM cars are of much higher value than Toyota now, and it didn't attribute to the death of 34 people.

  • Yes, GM has been making cars that far exceed Toyota. That is why so many people wanted their cars which lead to them going bankrupt even after the federal bailout.

  • Certainly worse than Toyota that lost billions on recall, had the value of their vehicles lowered significantly, facing civil and federal lawsuit from the USA GOVERNMENT because of the thousands of crashes their defects had caused and let's not forget the annihilated stock.

Most companies receive bailout from their government once or twice, it's not dreadfully uncommon.

  • Bullshit - bailouts are not common. Bailout money should never have been printed.

  • @dadoody Oh cmon. Name a big company or a country that's NEVER gone through the process of bailout. There are ones you might never know, whether it's subsidiaries or the main company. It can be small, but there bailouts are common believe me.

  • @MASHDOTCOM

IBM. Almost failed in the 90s, but they pulled up their pants and restructured and have become highly profitable again.

As opposed to GM which should have been broken up and might have made a revival if the Union was busted up and multiple new car companies emerged.

  • @dadoody hey read the paper gm is about to pay off its loan, something like 5 years ahead of scheduel

  • @7bmwm3gtr Hyundai has the most economical lineup in North America, Honda is second most economical. Ford has some really bad gas guzzlers (Honda doesn't have any V8 engines in North America) so they're behind in economy

  • @MASHDOTCOM Are you kidding me? Hyundai and Honda are both very well selling right now because of good quality and reliability. VW "doesn't stand a chance" because they're too expensive and you're spot on about BMW

  • LMFAO Perhaps u haven't seen the 2011 Sonata, Equus, Genesis? Their ugly? Not everyone can afford a BMW. Another ignorant tool, great!

  • @ModelAirports 2011 Equus, Genesis, Sonata = UGLY

  • Which is why tons of people are probably arguing with you. lmao.

  • @ModelAirports Um, and who exactly was arguing with me?

  • Look up?

  • @ModelAirports Hey remember me? LOL I'm actually loving Hyundai's new Accent, Elantra, Sonata and Tucson - great exterior styling, interior quality, fuel economy and safety. Guess I was wrong about Hyundai being crap - they've really put out some great cars this year..

  • @alexkvaskov Haha yeah I remember you bro. We've recently trade in our '06 Sonata for the new 2011 Sonata SE. One hell of a car, plus you got paddle shifters. ;)

  • @7bmwm3gtr Nah, the real competitors for the cheap car market are Honda, Toyota, Ford and Hyundai and Kia. Kia has some decent new models and Hyundai is stepping up quality. Toyota's quality has dropped but is still way better than GM, Honda is okay and Ford has improved a lot

  • Kia's new Forte was pretty impressive.

  • @ModelAirports I didn't sit in any Kia's, so I can't judge, but it sure looks pretty nice (albeit taking styling bits from several different cars)

  • Youre funny (^p^)

  • GOOD

  • @kenioru1989 The passionate pursuit of perfection. Perfection is a stuck accelerator pedal and wrecking at 100mph.

    Benz for life.

  • win lexus tinyurldotcom/yfr8z4j

you gotta see the chinese car crash tests they get crunched up pretty good like a ball heap of metal after a crash a pretty sight really and qiute amusing

  • That a toyota for you!!

  • great..

  • wrong retard

  • Wrong, very good.

See how the drivers space is almost completely untouched? That means the driver is probably ok. The fact that the engine goes to shit is the price you pay for getting your ass into the accident in the first place.

  • wat?

  • 40 mph, or about 64 km/h

  • how speed ?

  • WTF no side bags?

  • why opening the side bags, when the crash was frontal.

  • your a dumbass you dont need side bags in a crash in the front if anything that may hurt you more the side deploys when the side gets hit

  • man if you are stupid at least keep it to yourself

  • 中国製見た後だから凄さがよくわかるな

  • テスト終わった後の車のパーツをタダでもらえませんか?

  • good....

  • Chinese cars are worse than cars assembled from junkyard pieces...but Lexus is quite different from sporty BMW...almost like a mix of BMW and Benz

  • Lexus is Toyota u dumbass
