  • Behind that is a well organized mafia or group....just like in every corner of the world

  • i was homeless in a smALL TOWN IN FLORIDA LAST YEAR FOR ABOUT 7 MONTHS THERE WERE LOTS OF HOMELESS BEGGING ON THE CORNERS BUT WHEN I WOULD GO TO THE EMPLOYMENT OFFICES EVERY MORNING AT 6AM ALL THOSE SAME GUYS WERE RIGHT THERE. THEY WOULD SIT IN THE EMPLOYMENT OFFICE FOR A COUPLE HOUORS TO SEE IF A JOB CAME UP, LEAVE A CELL NUMBER THEN GO OUT ON THE STREET. IT IS TRUE THOUGH THAT 80% USED ANY MONEY THEU GOT TO BY BEER LIQUOR AND CIGARETTES, HAPPY TO SLEEP ON THE BEACH AND BEG FOR FOOD

  • This shows that MOST of the "Off-rampers" are just lying to get cash for their druggie habits. The sad thing is, that this shows about 1 in 10 probably ARE willing to work, but they are mostly ignored as the others are known to be BS artists.

  • @anthonyyakkey. Well said. Well said indeed.

  • i can piece it all together for ya the whole big picture not the delushion but after this story i wouldent have any faith you would do the right thing anyway

  • // and then when they lost even the little bit that kept them afloat people replied it was because of the drugs /// when really its becuse heartless people could give too shits and need something to look at to make themselves feel better WHAT TELL ME IM WRONG then go listen to my songs and tell me i dont got heart ANTHONYYAKKEY IF YOU WANT TOO KNOW MY STORY

  • some people do live that way on pourpose but i can only imagine what they must of went through in there young bum years /// if any of you have a soul left start realizing that some people were actually caraled into bieng homless /// how cause when they needed a little help and were willing to work for it everybody turned and said i got PROBLEMS TOO

  • and then the job turns out too be 6 hours for ten bucks you really have no clue and you call yourself reporters i really could break the whole shit down for you but your the reporters not me some people make you work for a day just for a can of food they could of got the money up for in an hour and a bottle of licker so they can fall asleep peacefully not knowing if tomarrow will come ASSHOLES

  • see i know cause ive been there /// and guess what even though im not there anymore its always an eye shot away ALWAYS /// go sleep on the street for a few nights and play the part there are some wierd things that go down NOT NORMAL but since you only want too bad moulth all of them AND EVEN IF SOME DESERVE IT some really do have medical problems and alot get told you get paid when the job is done

  • ok first most of them get taken advatage of them how many times can you stand getting spit on before you say enoughf and yes some dont want too work they just want too stand around // but at the end of the day whats 20 bucks when you are sleeping in an alley or under a tree or in an abandond car// have you ever slept someplace where you dont know if your throught is gonna be sliced before you wake up HAVE YOU and you wounder why some of them drink even if they want too do better

  • mabe they dont want to get into a car with that guy.

  • If a stranger rolled up to me asking if I wanted to do some work for any amount of money, hopping in the back of that truck would not be what I would guess to be the wisest thing to do.

  • Some of those who are living on the streets have been subjected to any sort and amount of physical, psychological, and/or sexual assaults and/or abuses. Some have done so prior to ending up on the streets - and they may be there for those very reasons. I suspect that there are, in fact, not many who are NOT there for those reasons.

  • The mental/psychological illnesses that some of those people do so apparently suffer from are not suffered by them without there having been causes behind their mental/psychological illnesses - causes that were not of their own creation.

  • In other words, people do not volunteer to become ill. That being so, why should they wish to be re-acclimated into a society in which - from their personal experiences - they do know does contain those who would subject them to any sort and amount of physical, psychological, and/or sexual assaults and/or abuses?

  • While among those who are truly are homeless there may those who are in a desperate situation, their trusting of the wrong stranger could, in fact, prove to be the most unwise of things to do. If it turned out to be the case that trusting such a person led to the homeless person being subjected to (further) violence, abuse, and/or torture, then it would make that homeless person's situation even worse. Trusting the wrong stranger could, in fact, prove to be a fatal decision in some instances.

  • There are some ignorant, deranged, and sadistically-inclined individuals out there in the society of those who are NOT homeless (as evidenced by some of the statements made within this comments section), any number of whom might gladly take advantage of the opportunity to abuse, assault, torture, and/or murder any homeless person who would enter into that stranger's vehicle - or who would follow that stranger into any secluded location -

  • figuring that no one (or no one of any recognized significance) would notice, care, or miss any homeless person.

  • You rapid-fire defense of these human cesspools causes one to question your blind faith in these obvious lazy, worthless losers. Many of their afflictions are self-induced, by their own decision to become substance abusers-noone forces you to riddle your body with poisons until you are a mental and physical wreck and a social outcast. We all are faced with these decisions-some choose wrong. It's a free, and cruel world,in this country-

  • any JOB is a job and if you're diabled you CAN find work, it may take a few weeks but i know ppl who have jobs and disabled. there are jobs out there for all types of ppl

  • The fact that some people who are disabled are able to find jobs does not prove that there is a job available everywhere for each and every sort of disabled person. Even if there were so, awareness of any such an opportunity might not be had by any one or more of those who would benefit from having the awareness of such an opportunity.

  • There are able-bodied, mentally competent, psychologically stable, intelligent, and sufficiently educated people out there who do have trouble gaining employment where opportunities are limited in comparison to the number of similarly able-bodied, (etc.) people who are looking for work. The added factor of any person's not having any one or more of those characteristics would reduce the likelihood of his or her finding work and gaining employment to an immeasurable degree.

  • I would love to exterminate all homeless. Maybe do a little R& D like test monkeys

  • $100 - $200 a day? Who are these experts, Donald Trump?

  • most of the people they show in this video are all mentally ill, not a bad thing but not a worthy report..... i lived on the streets for 15 years, i slept on concrete and lived that live, i never got into drugs/alchohol i wrote poetry and played music, for the past 4 years ive been takeing care of my half paralized father, alot of homeless will do work, but when people like 5 news tries to ask someone who is mentally ill to work, WTF do you think they are gunna say ???? yes ???

  • Looks like it's time to give the Bums some tough love!

  • Benjamin Richey, and guys like him, won't be homeless very long. Liberals hate the thought that homelessness IS a choice, but it is.

  • Both parties are driving us into poverty! You need to watch my vids!

  • This must make you Americans feel better about 'not' helping people! I am sure you are not all like that.

  • lol, this news report will make pple give them less money, and they'll get poorer lol

  • This is sad. Bad stereotype on people who are actually down on their luck. It makes those people look bad. Instead, we should be teaching each other how to look for those who are truly serious about being in a state of destitute.

  • I used to be homeless dude and let me tell you

95% of homeless peoplespend the money you give them on beer/pot

I KNOW this for a fact i was 1 of the 5% lol

some"homeless" people are not really homeless they have a house and their"job" is to panhandle....they make a lot too....tax free

  • How about these "journalists" actually work for their money and report some news instead of pandering to retarded stereotypes about the homeless?

The reason the Young Republicans-looking dude with the hidden camera kept getting snubbed was because he came off like Larry Craig, with his 'easy $20' line...

  • Actually, I am surprised journalists did a story like this that would expose beggars for the frauds they are.

Usually when the truth is so obvious, journalists can't be found because they're out pushing some liberal agenda.

  • Can I interest you in a subscription to Head Firmly Up Own Ass Monthly?

  • Homeless organizations preach that people shouldn't give money to beggars because it only encourages their drug and booze habits. If you want to help them, give to the charities that take care of these people, like Catholic Charities, and stop the liberal phony superficial feel-good bullshit.

  • Ah, I see. You're looking for Argument With Liberal (Warm/Fuzzy). This is Mockery From Guy Who Cares Less. Argument is in the other wing (Libs on the left, natch; W/F's from the middle to about quarter way down the hall).

Have fun and again, please consider a subscription to Head Firmly Up Own Ass Monthly. It would be right up your alley. Except... you know.

  • It's really hard to decipher your post. But I take it you're one of these liberal pukes who talks the talk, does superficial things to look good, but in the end, doesn't accomplish a damn thing. Hey, isn't that the Democrat Party for the past 65 years?

  • The one guy took up the offer - conveniently ignored by those commenting who want to stick the boot into the homeless. How many rich people live off others through inheritances and cushy jobs? I mean come on!!! I'm not trying to justify laziness or a handout culture but it pisses me off when people pick on the poor because they're easy targets. Where's the documentary about the rich leeching off society? Oh, there isn't one? What a surprise.

  • This is old news to me! What always amazed me was the number of stupid people who would shower this scum with money! At least now where I live there are ordanances against standing and loitering on the median strips.

  • wow this is from phoenix

  • true reality about homeless people in America. lazy, dirty in consideret.

  • i really like this

  • Interesting story
