One of my favourite versions, even though I'd prefer it played more "staccato". - check Benedetti Michelangeli's version or Glenn Gould's one. Barembhoim plays it in a strange "romantic" way i don't like much. thanks

I never thought that there were recordings of Scarlatti that could surpass Horowitz' until I heard Lipatti's. Even though I have these recordings and have listened to the two sonatas many times, it brings tears to my eyes to hear them now.
