Not really. In Japan the family name precedes first name, so her name is spelled like 菅野よう子 (Kanno Youko), Youko being her first name, and Kanno being a family name. Bearing our western tradition of writing family name the last, she indeed is Youko Kanno then.

very short, and a lot of improvisation. But it's really good. I miss this sorrow and pain you can hear in original version, that you played can't mirror those feelings.. I think that happend cause you play it a little too quickly at the end. But it's really really awesome!

Though your example is a bit out of context I have to agree piano is harder but both can be of equal difficulty depending on what is being done. Simply strumming chords... well that isn't difficult but if there is picking involved it can be quite complicated. Both have difficulties but personally I think piano is harder. I can't teach myself that... I taught myself guitar though... well sorta I got the basics enough to do easy picking and some chords

Personally, I disagree highly. I play both (not very good at either, at all), but I don't think they can really be compared, either. Some things are easier to play on guitar, and some things are easier to play on piano. It really depends on what the piece was written for.

But, there are songs that I've tried to play on my guitar, which I play a lot, that I can play better if I try to play them on the piano, which I have only played maybe 20 hours of in my lifetime... so... :P
