I think you fail to see that western countries execute people for heinous crimes, not for political protests.... The people executed were not in prison issue clothes and looked as though they hadn't spent much time incarcerated.... Off the top of my head, I don't know exactly how long. The Japanese people are from China, Korea, and I believe some parts of the Polynesians islands. The Ainus migrated from northern Asia...from Tibet I think. But I do know the Ainus were in Hokkaido long before the establishment of the Japanese culture.
