Looks like they're taking elements from the entire sands of time trilogy and the more recent game and trying to make the next Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise out of it.

I'm actually more interested in the movie now. While they aren't following the story of the games, they do seem to have a few things right (except for the walljump scene, that just looks forced).

It's by Disney.................it ONLY looks "OK". Had it been by a better company such as New Line Cinema, Tristar, Miramax, etc. it would have looked better in my opinion. Now don't start on your little "acceptance" comments on it, just because this movie adaptation is "coming out". It's not always about the company making the movie. Sometimes it's about the people making it. I highly doubt that Disney will have a lot to do with this other than sets and distributing it. Bruckenheimer Productions is the company behind this. Maybe instead of blaming Disney you should put blame on Jerry Bruckenheimer or Ubisoft. Tell that to the other people who are blaming Disney.

This is going to be a disaster. Could they have found anyone who looked less like the Prince? And frankly, the story of Sands of Time was fine. Why are they trying to build a new Pirates franchise out of series that can't hold it? How would they ever be able to make Warrior Within and Two Thrones if they edited the basis of the whole mess? Prince of Persia: Sands Of Time is a great game, just hope the stupid americans don't screw with it, what they'll probably do. Even so Jerry Bruckheimer is the best Production Company nowdays.

I think this movie has 80% of chances to be good. The Soundtrack is by Harry Gregson-Williams also a Master professional Composer. 4 Stars.

Silent Hill the movie was very faithful to it's roots, however I thought the movie could've been much, much better. The biggest problem of the entire movie is that it wasn't actually scary. Another problem was that it was basically a compilation of everything fans wanted to see, not a new story with new monsters and ideas. Even Pyramid Head makes an appearence for no particular reason.
