What i mean is you cannot say the enire song is about "love" or "remorse" or whatever. this is how johns songs are. They're kind of depressive, indeed. And to me, this song is about a state of feeling, where he is exposiing the hypocrisy of a bunch of actions and feelings and points of view. Hypocrisy is part of life. It the duality we live. thats why we cannot have absolutes. every white has its black.
