if i need parts for one of these where can i find them? my grandpa has one of these his dad bought new in 1945 would love to get it running for him again
Great run! I have one of these engines. It needs a distributor cap and some spark plug wires. Should be able to get it running. Are you using a special coil? What voltage are you using? Would really like to set mine up to run.
Well you are the only video that I have found of a Morton M5 engine Running, So you are holding the monopoly!! on the only Morton M5 Video, Congrats!!
You can get them (cast) from Vernal Engineering (Bruce Satra) in Vernal, UT. Are you a member of the Yahoo Radial & Rotary Engine group? Information there.

I have one of these engines. If I were to send it to Homer, would he be willing to get it running and tuned up for me?

Thanks so much. Because the carby vents into the crankcase, does the engine use a 2 stroke mix and have no seperate oil supply?

Yes. (I posted this video for a friend. I don't really know anything about the engine, but I pass along any comments to someone who does know.)

I have wanted to see a Morton actually run, since I first saw and learned of them in 1978!
30 years later, I have finally seen and heard one. Thank you! :)
