Yes, I live down here, and yes, this is normal typhoon weather for us, and yes, even in Manila wherein it technically "missed" us. Typhoons are BIG, usually encompassing the entire country and miss or hit doesnt count when its the same all over the place.
Moving to the 2nd floor of our home is routine, if troublesome. Try moving an old 40inch TV up 2 flights at the insistence of your mother...
And yes, we're still shuffling the mud out of the 1st floor as of this post. Nothing too bad.
i also chased TRIED to chase this storm but, wrong reading of shear bring me to bad luck... i remained more to the north instead of going south... T_T
Wow...Every time I see video of the Philippines, I get so depressed over the poverty there and that people are living in shacks on the water like that when it's hit so frequently by typhoons. This is AMAZING video...Now I see why death tolls are always so staggering when these storms hit the Philippines. Subscribed! Will see ya back on Storm2k! Thanks again.
AWESOME footage, James!!! The Philippines have really been getting nailed this year! I'm glad Jim was OK after falling through that floating vegetation... he seems to have a knack for getting injured during chases...lol.
The Philippine government seems completely ignores the people's life and death.

What are those kids doing there? They should be in dry land, I suppose everything is in water there. Nice video, thank's for sharing it!
