ahhh yeah thats ryt. wake island is on all the BF games except for BF vietnam. it think BF1943 is going to be the test platform for BF3.

The BF games have come in pairs, 1942 and vietnam had same style, graphics, engine, BF2 and BF2142 were same as well.

So i guess they just put a few old, but popular maps on BF1943 cos it is a halfway point towards BF3 and they want to get as much testing out of it.
