i technically have a puzzle desk if you consider this a puzzle box. you pull the drawers out on my desk. and press a panel behind the drawers. this pops out a spool you turn it twice then press a panel on the outside of the desk, and it opens up a cabinet

lol. same sort of thing but my desk is a little different. the drawers are pulled out completely. not to a certain point. you push a panel behind where the drawers used to be. then a circular spool pops out. as you turn it, it unscrews the lock on the cabinet door then push the door to free it from the remainder of the lock. its similar in the ending sequence, but not the same at the start as with national treasure.

I just wanted to add that I wish there was a way to edit messages because after sending mine I saw the mistakes in it (I look at my keyboard when I type.).

At any rate, the message remains the same. This is a cheap box, not some work of art. It needs to have a piece removed in order to open it. The guy in the video is kind of a show off because you don't actually need any tool. You just need to know which piece to pull and "voila"!

Good God! You're still at it!?! Go take a lok on Ebay and you'll find that box for less than $10. I happen to have 2 of those. As other people have mentioned, take a better look at the video; the pliers are never used! The tools are just to create a "show off" effect at the beginning. You may (or may not!) have paid a lot for some boxes (were they worth it?) but anyone can tell you don't know much about the subject from what you wrote.

Snowair, listen, this box is cheap. It costs less than $10 for one. It is ot a Japanese puzzle box thing. This kind of bos need to have a piece removed in order to open it. The kind didn't ruin it.
