Anyway, you can also beat Don by alternating left and right punches after a hot dodge, takes a few seconds longer.

The easiest way I found was after you dodge his first punch, just rotate punches left and right or vice versa. You'll just keep hitting him until he goes down and it normally results in a KO

Don't know about the trunks (maybe it's the emulator I used to record the video). But with some emulators, you can save state and hex edit the saved state and mess with the record before the jogging screen starts. Then you will get a password that reflects the edited record, even if the record is more KO's than actual wins. That's how I got a working password for 66 KO's and only 6 victories.
