What happened to CastleVania over the years? This is a great game, no doubt about it, but I found little to no challenge in it, or for that matter, nearly all of the modern titles in the franchise. Even on the more difficult play settings, it's like a walk through the park compared to classic CastleVania games.

This game is not as good as Super Castlevania IV for the super nintendo. It is a shame that the gameboy advance did not port that game, since they ported the original castlevania and also games like donkey kong. I wish they would have ported , or the DS games like Super Castlevania IV and Lufia II, and Seiken Densetsu that was only released in Japan. All clearly superior to the later games made and my god with the Nintendo DS they just keep going down in quality in the games.
