  • Saw them at Glasto in 94' , fucking excellent live and one of my fav albums of the 90's

  • @Stevenmarque

Ya it was! 17 yrs on still a great album .

  • Was this the opening track on the album? If not what was please?

  • I have 2 albums from this band....very strange sound....I can t explain..maybe from another dimension ehh !.Flutes are on many trax, and gives a particular feeling. A little dark, a little jazz, a little "crunchy"....deep voices. Sometimes music is so complex ! Nice bridge at 2.20. Love this sound, it remains me sound of demo tracks ...a little unfinished, but full of little details. Thank you Zynsk

  • i remember this was remixed in trident studios in london at the same time as the ruby turner track never going to give you up.

    both tracks are awesome.

  • arden and his magic bugle!!!!

  • Rite To Silence is an album I keep coming back to. It's thoroughly unique and really should have been bigger than it was.

  • Wow...what a great video...I bought this album when it came out...for me one of the great albums of the 90's...pity they made only one, but it was an amazing one too.

  • @cabomusico You might want to see if you can find a copy of "Yesterday's Tomorrow" - the second album by Sandals that was recorded in '93/'94 but only released in 2009 on a Japanese label called Rudiments.

  • @dillikins thanks a lot for the info...I'll be looking at it soon...best regards...

  • A very RARE 90`s tune you may or may not remember.

  • Awesome. Now if we could just get someone to post the Dust Brothers' Beatapella from the 12"...

  • Don't know about that but 2 more remixes have been posted by UndergroundDither recently.

  • Nobody from this band went on to form Leftfield. The Sandals are Will Blanchard, John Harris, Derek Delves & Ian Simmonds. Leftfield are Paul Daley and Neil Barnes.

  • John Harris was a GOD...one of the classic from the days of the WAG and Acid Jazz

so happy to hear it again

  • Good times. :)

  • What he said above x

  • I ' VE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG TIME TO SEE THIS VIDEO HERE. i STILL HAVE THIS VIDEO ON VHS- RITE TO SILENCE IS SUCH AN EXCELLENT ALBUM- THANKS MATE !!
