You guys are clueless; this show was great when the family was more like a real family and less like a liberal punchline. It was great when Lisa was caring and insightful without being preachy. It was great when Homer was a moron but still cared for his family. It was great when the family argued but still liked each other. Now the show is a joke because the writing since the late 90's focused on ridiculous left wing bullshit, instead of the principles that it was founded on.
@Treblaine The Simpsons needs to ride off into the sunset with it's dignity and glory in tact. Much of the humor is Family Guy level humor which is low brow at best anymore. Fox cancels good shows and let's crap keep running. This is my favorite show with Futurama in a close second. Fox did screw Matt over quite well
@auron508 I like Family Guy humor. But I agree with you in that fact, that they should stop making new episodes, while show has its dignity. I thought season 20+ is total crap. Some good episodes there and there, but it doesn't have it's glory anymore.

@ConnerHudson Yeah, you got a point there. Classic Simpsons had episodes like 'The Cartridge Family' that while really funny and satirical of civilian gun ownership it ultimately had a pro-gun message with the episode ending with even the liberal Marge twirling a pistol and popping it in her purse.
That's the way I wish conservative comedy was now, that shows the sceptical liberal learning a conservative lesson. Rather than just demonising lefties. Just as bad as Family Guy bashing righties.
