For all who ate wondering, this is not simply recolored ebony, it has different designs in the lighter color. Those who say "just get umbra" umbra is heavy armor, this is light armor, someone who uses light armor won't be getting heavy armor, so they would get this instead of umbra.

Kill Umbra for the sword if you want a sword, there's also a daedric shrine where you give him the sword and recieve a mace. (Sword for people who use blades and finsih the daedric quest and get the mace if you use blunt weapons.) Kill Umbra for Ebony armor, (if you use heavy armor.) And go through this tomb if you use Light Armor.

@redbut298 you recieve the masque of clavicus vile not a mace molag bal is you die by a cursed mace... i woulnt suggest giving umbra up as its an extremely useful wep not to mention its sheer power w/out a good enchant (27 DMG w/100 str)

Gear sometimes disappear when u drop them yes in certain places like the well in cheydinhal i think when u do cheydinhal reccomendation quest, if u drop things there they disappear

Lol its just to enchant any armor with constant effect shield and u will have as much armor as a lvl 15 character at lvl 1

There is a quest with the armor also, if you don't give the girl her armor (I think just the shield and curiass), you must pay like 5,000 gold to finish the quest.

@0jopopino0 Ebony, yeah, but I tried like 4 times to kill her, so I got on my other guy (Who was accepted into the arcane university so had a fire staff) and snuck up on her and killed her in to shots hehe. I haven't started the quest but it still counts as a quest item rendering it weightless. Awesome,

Umbra is a sword. But you could use this armor and use it with the umbra sword. But i recmmend this armor for level 1 - 10 because it isn't THAT good. but is quite good if youre like a noob xd

@0jopopino0 Um, well, umbra IS Umbra's sword, but her armor is also called Umbra's armor. It's not particularly special, except for its name, and being really good.
