I really love Motoi Sakuraba's music, it's great how he maintains the 70's prog sound, like ELP or Colosseum II.

He is my one of my favorite composers, and curiosly, for each game he composes the music, the game become one of my favorites, tri-Ace rulz.

OMG! MOTOI SAKURABA!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT IN STUDIO!!!!!! *gasps and falls over* This is a real gem to find here. I know for a fact they used this song in Star Ocean 3 the director's cut I have the director's cut cd I got at an animethon and that song is on there, they used it for the boss in the Aquatic Gardens of Suferio. But this is awesome! :D

Sakuraba is the man! I love his music, and I love the atmosphere he creates with his music, it's second to none in my books. This song proves it, what game is this from though? I don't think I've heard it, but it sounds like something from Star Ocean 3.

I'm glad to hear that you're a motoi's music fan also! Ahh... About this song, it was not released for any particular game. Just a studio play! :p It can be easily confused to be part of "Star Ocean or Valkyrie Profile" OST's. Keep that good taste for music my friend!

Oh dang, and I was hoping to recognize that song in a video game that has a contribution from him on the soundtrack. Ah well, regardless, it rocks to say the least, and definitely could fit on either Star Ocean, Valkyrie Profile, Baten Kaitos, or even the Tales of series soundtracks. But thank you, I've loved Sakuraba's music ever since I heard Sol-Feace's soundtrack (though I didn't realize it was him until I beat that game), and Star Ocean 2.

Definitely, he's such a master composer. You can listen to the Golden Sun soundtrack and not had to have played the game.. the images are evoked so strongly with his notes.

Without a doubt, he did wonders with the GBA hardware and those two games to boot. Sakuraba is just fantastic, he's my favorite composer, and the variety of genres that he goes across is unmatched by any. Man, I hope he continues to do this until he's old and gray, long live Sakuraba!
