@DarkestTruth What a narrow view you seem to have on the term "god". How do you know there isnt a god, but that he does not care if Hitler kills millions? It makes more sense to me if a god didn't care. A god could create an infinite amount of lifeforms in less than a split second and then destroy them all. It seems more logical to me that a god wouldn't find life any more important than atoms. God isnt only the god described in the bible you know.

He is misrepresenting the bible. First, in all his quotes he says God demandes WE do these thing. God does no such thing. These laws were for the Jews for a specific time and purpose. The new testiment makes it clear that gential converts are not under Jewish law. Second, God does not demand we kill disobedint teenagers or woman who are not virgins when they marry. Rational people believe that the universe is governed by observable and verifiable natural laws. The former offer no more proof for their conjecture than the mechanism of 'faith', whereas the latter have a scientific method of observation, theory and verification to back them up.

Why are there some many people filled with so much bitterness against God? Man does all he can to destroy his life through his own rebellion and then blames God. Holy books don't corrupt people but rather corrupt people corrupt holy books. Religion is not the problem but it is corrupt people who corrupt religion. Have you ever study the life of Jesus. He came into a corrupt world and yet was not corrupted by it. My friend God is love and this is the mark of true religion. I John 4:7-21

ok, now try this:: To me, it would make more sense if you say, and we all agree on, that "god" made humanity sinners(if there were a 'god'). because he supposably made us the perfect little sinners we are. he knew how we would react he made us to his perfection. no? if not, then why would he put us into a would of pure TEMPTATION and then let us know to worship him 24/7.that is ENSLAVEMENT, brother!!

My friend God did not make us sinners we chose to be sinners. God stacked the deck in our favor and yet we choose to rebel against God. God made us in His image, in His likeness and made man His personal representative and gave him dominion over His creation. Everything upon the earth was man's but one thing. My Friend there was only ONE restriction upon mankind just one and though ALL else was his he chose to rebel and guest who gets blamed, God! Please read Romans 5:6-21 and ask yourself why?

oh come on! god ment for that serpent to go into the garden. He also ment for us to fallinto temptation. If he wouldnt of, he would have given us the temptation, he wouldnt have pretended (or ALLOWED) that the serpent entered the garden. or unless there was a flaw in his security system. and if you say that he allowed it to test us, then y? he already knew what was going to happen...might as well fastforward to the flood then and there.... hypothetically speaking if there were a 'god'

Please take some time to think this thing out. God's creation was perfect but there was a virus that threaten it with with death and destruction. Satan had rebel against God and 1/3 of heaven had become infected. God in His wisdom created man as an antidote to this virus. It's like getting a flu shot during a flu epidemic, the doctor is actually giving you the flu and you get sick for a while. Yet the shot will build an immunity against the virus. Jesus is our flu shot! Please read John 5:12-21

'BUT(?) there was a virus that threaten it' so it was perfect, BUT...no no. either it was entirelly or it wasnt. it doesnt make sense. the way you put it, god ment for the 1/3 to become infected, he is the creator of EVERYTHING he knows everything BEFOREHAND. either he let his defense down, that "evilness" snuck up behind him. or we just all admit he's not that all perfect omnipotent being everyone raves about.

My friend and I say that sincerely, I must share with you that I believe at the very core of all your questions about God i a root of bitterness. I don't know what tragedy or trauma you have gone through but is very obvious that something has filled your heart with bitterness toward God and others. As much as I would love for you to see the light until your bitterness has been removed it will be impossible. I too had a heart that was filled with bitterness and hate so I understand and feel you.

There were some complexities growing as a black person during the 60s that I didn't understand. There were some complexities growing up without a father that I didn't understand. There were some complexities about being a slow learner that I didn't understand. When child is abused for no reason and treated as if he doesn't matter. He begins to ask the question why? Why God are you allowing this then it is why God are you doing this and then it's I don't believe in God.

Like the words in the song amazing grace " I once was lost but now I am found I was blind but now I see". I had lost the ability to love and thought no one loved me or care so why should I. But the love of God poured over me like a mighty river and this cold and hate filled heart of mine broke and all I could do was weep. I weep because all these years I had believed that God hated me because of all the things I went through. But when I found out the depth of His love for me it was unbearable.

How hard would it be to explain to an ant the complexities of the universe? Some times we forget that we are finite and that God is infinite. For who hath known the mind of God, the depth of of His wisdom and knowledge. His ways are higher then our ways His thoughts higher then our thoughts as high as the earth is from the heavens. Man in his pride has become the sum total of all knowledge. He has eaten of the tree of knowledge and has become his own god and he will no other God before him.

I've lived a happy life, since childhood, without god. Did'nt need one when I was little and I dont need one now. I'm loving, emotionally stable and glad to be alive. So, put aside your childhood fantasy and see that god is imaginary.

Why is it that so many people like yourself are so quick to label God as imaginary or some childhood fantasy when they have never taken the time prove God. I myself find it very hard to dismiss the belief in God when there is so much evidence of God. Like the discovery of the Sinai Mountain which confirms the bibles account of God upon the mountain as a devouring fire. (See Exodus 25:17-18) Why don't you do some research before you come to any conclusion about God. Do you have abundant life?

It is sad that you and so many other people are so quick to concluded that God doesn't exist without even looking. I understand that these days it is not to your advantage to have a belief in God. But my friend there are those who have made a sincere search for God and have found infallible proof. Like those who discovered Mount Sinai and found the altar of the golden calf, the split rock which produced a river of water and the rocks of blackened because of fire.

The whole history of the Jewish people declare over and over again that there is a God. To deny God is to deny their very existence, and my friend the nation of Israel is not some invisible dragon in your living room. Archaeology has confirmed the history of the Jewish people as described in the bible so that people like yourself are without excuse. "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." Psa. 14:1

Littlenutter: Hello. I have taken the time with the bible. Bible major and Biola university, youth pastor, worship leader, bible study teacher etc....Read the damn thing more than 25 times..Been there, found out it is just a big delusion and fantasy. To be truthful, I've seen the "burning fire" and it's not god. There is power and energy, though...As for burning bushes,,,take a look at the new Hubble pictures of the universe near the time of the big bang. Or the new pictures of galaxies. No bush
