You never tested out the remote start. Especially handy in cold weather like where you are. I have the new Charger and I start it up from inside the house and by the time I get in the car, all the windows AND mirrors have been defrosted.

That button on the key fob (remote) that you didn't know what it was, is the remote start, press it twice and the van will start right up.

I hate how we JUST got a 2010 Dodge Caravan SXT, I think the same wheels you have on yours... ALL the upgrades... and it doesn't have MyGig or auto headlamps or remote start... cost $32k but I've seen cheaper Caravans with less options and MyGig and remote start?!?! Like I've seen it on SE's!!! It's maddening... I wish we waited for the 2011 though :/

@tighmir That's always the way though isn't it lol. Had we known they were coming out with this when we bought the '09 last year we would have waited as well. I figured they would be keeping with the same design for a few more years just like the generation before, but nope, instead I am going to owe money on 2 vehicles haha

@donovan9288djn It's just my opinion. I've never liked GPS sine it came around, then I heard so many stories of people getting lost with them. I just like using good ol' fasioned maps or google earth to plan my routes. Keeps my brain working lol

@volcom84bait I don't consider melted down fascias stylish but to each his own. However the interior of the Sienna is awful. Hard, cheap plastic everywhere. Caravan handles better, has a way nicer interior, and has Stow `n Go, which alone brings it to the top of my list.

i have a rear back up camera too and i always use it it should have been put in along time ago, i WISH!!!!! that they would make a dodge grand caravan SRT-6 with a supercharged 3.5 Pentastar engine about 350hp and 325lbs of torque but that would never happen

The '09 Caravan we have sticks to the road like glue and out performs my little '05 sx 2.0 (neon). If they could add a solid power plant with oodles of power we'd have it made

The one you said you didn't know what it was on the key fob (The one with a circle and x2) That is the button to remote start the car from for example, outside. Just press it once or twice and then the van turns on by itself.

Nice. I own an '05 with stow n go. While it was in the shop, I had a 2010 loaner. Did NOT like it at all. I was starting to worry that my next vehicle would be a chevy, lol. Glad to see the 2011 is looking waaaaay better. Not just the caravan but the whole lineup. Keep it up Dodge.

@kkenmore63 We love the stow n go in the '09. The only complaint about the '09 I have is it feels like I'm driving a fisher price toy with all the plastic in the interior....and the gutless 3.3, but it gets the job done

@adge0042 well keep in mind the pentastar engine is only being made in small numbers, it seems some amount of the engines are having to be scrapped because of defects, i have a (made in 2007 first off the assembly line in fenton, missouri)2008 Dodge GC,the 3.8 is thirsty but it has good torque and i use it to haul around my family of seven cochrysler has done good with minivans , don't felel bad the plastics feel horrible compared to my neon which has high-quality materials

@adge0042 i have a 2004 neon my dad shares with me since the caravan i have uses too much fuel, i like the neon because back then in 2004 no jap car could compare, the neon has better torque and hp than the other cars.ANd when i drive the neon i beat the living sh** out of it and it responds well.sure i've made some minor repairs but it has 81k and still has great acceleration

My friends 07 3.3 is pretty boring IMO, but well, it is a minivan, and not a viper ahah, but still, it doesnt hurt to have fun at times. My other buddie had a 07 3.8 grand, nd it seemed to haul half decent so i'd really like to see the difference of that with the 3.6.

Not a fan of Dodge vehicles, got to admit the dodge caravan looks better now overall. Did you have any trouble with the 2009 version?

@SolonicToyota1991 The only thing I didn't like about the '09 was the gutless 3.3L. The 2011 has a 283HP 3.6L, which is around 100HP more than the 3.3L. Other than that we've had no problems with it
