However, you simply do not hear that much about peak oil in the MSM. You do hear a fair amount in the alternative press, but that is an entirely different animal, it is not controlled by the establishment. It looks to me like they are hiding peak oil, not pushing it.

The fundamental argument being that the rise in Co2 causes an increase in global temperatures. The evidence clearly shows that any increase in Co2 happens 800 to 2000 years AFTER any temperature increase.
They have got us all hating ourselves -- The message being that the earth would be a far better place without us humans on it.
Really?? You make ut sound like oil is bad. The whole world has thrived because of oil in so very many ways. I thought America was still in Iraq to establish a secure Iraq. But i could be wrong, Im sure Bush has some secret plan to steal all of the oil there just like he planned 911.
You are correct the situation in Iraq, it is about securing the oil for American intrests. Afghanistan is about securing the oil reserves, the Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline, and the Opium production but that does not make it right.

Global warming is being caused by the sun.
There are 400 top scientists who say global warming being caused by man is total propaganda.
One million earths fit in the sun. It takes 8 minutes for the light/warmth to get from the sun to earth.
Astronomers have observed that the frozen moons are starting to melt around Jupiter.
And the ice cap (not ice with water but ice with carbon dioxide and such) on Mars is melting.
